Contest Result: The Annoying Relative

Greetings to everyone. We've come to the end of our Annoying relative contest. We had 17 participants. The contest was important because it made most of us appreciate the presence of our relatives and they good they bring anytime they visit. While most said their relatives aren't liabilities, they also play caution when it comes to being loose or allowing them be a direct part of the family as nobody is to be trusted.

Some stated with original pictures how annoying and draining their relatives can be. Judging from the writing and contexts, I came up with winners who really expressed the bone of contention in the just concluded contest. Although everyone's experience with their relatives is cool, not everyone can be winners. My criterias for selection was basically on originality, experience, writing context etc.

The above winners have been rewarded. We have two contests in the community. You can choose to participate in any of them. One secret to being among the winners in a contest is by being creative and original. Not every contest is about your ability to explain in details, though this would be checked when assessing.

Starting your writing by greeting the whole member of the steemit platform isn't really ideal_. Most times it makes readers feel bored going through the writeups. Why not start with something intriguing like a comic relief sentence or experience?

Not what you think

• You can start by briefly narrating an experience and then keep a suspense or
• You start by asking a question and placing a hook on your reader's neck....E.g... How would you feel if your Boss gets you fired for being in a place at the wrong time and feels the money that has been missing in the company is because of you? I may not be perfect with this but you can try a creativity like this.....

Additionally, there's a competition that would commence next month. It's a Singing competition and all steemians are invited to participate in the competition. For the time being, you'll have to promote this to other Steemians in different communities using the link below.
