Stage 2: The Judges Stage [ The Voice of Steemit 25 — Edition 1]

Welcome to the judges stage where contestants get evaluated by the judges. This would be our host community for this stage. I recognise the presence of the Admins @xkool24 and @benton3 as the faces of the voice of Steemit would be shown here. I solicit for support in votes and comments by members of this community as it would add to our fan base during public voting.

This is the judges stage and we have 11 judges and 17 contestants**. What's this stage all about and how will contestants go about it? This is an important stage you don't have to joke with as it gives you favour in the eyes of the judges. Contestants were randomly selected and grouped in teams of 4. Each team have three judges to evaluate team members.

In this stage, you're to sing to be evaluated by the 11 Vos-25 judges. I've given the judges marking schemes. You can also check the marking schemes to know how to improve your singing. You should give this your very best, as how you sing on this stage will determine if you'll move to the next stage or you'll be evicted from the show.

You'll have to create a first impression for the judges evaluating you. Singing one of your best songs, not the one you sang in the auditions, is recommended. You must have a pass mark of 30 points to pass through the theatre week. There's a total evaluation point or mark of 50, and in this stage, only one or none is to be evicted. Deadline for submission by contestants is 16th August. Then the judges will evaluate using the marking scheme and drop their evaluations on the WhatsApp group. Judges are to submit their scores 2-3 days after contestant links have been sent to them.

Rules to Judges

• You're to rate the performance of a contestant using the marking scheme below 👇🏽 👇🏽.

• You're not to share scores with any contestant or accept bribe.

• You're not to influence other judges to support a particular contestant. Give your personal evaluation and I'll do the average.

Rules to Contestants

• This competition is all about singing and video. So what will you do?

• Note, you're to sing a song. The song can be any song in any language. Check this link for marking scheme to know which areas you must improve in...Marking scheme

• Record yourself in a video and sing any song of your choice for 2 minutes, 30 seconds. It can be less than but shouldn't exceed. The 2:30 minutes is maximum. You must not sing all the lyrics if the song is lengthy.

• And note, we're to keep our phones in landscape and sing. Don't use portrait. Don't keep your phone straight while singing. It should be in landscape to accommodate YouTube standards. Example; 👇🏽👇🏽

• Note, while singing, sing in a place where the background is free or plain. You can cover a cloth behind you while singing if you can't leave the background. We don't want to see anything like clouds, chairs or clothes in your background. It should be plain

• Post your videos on YouTube before the deadline. Copy the link and make a post on steem4nigeria community with the guidelines I'll give you.

• Title for YouTube posting should be VOS-25 Judges Stage by @username.

• Deadline for posting your entry on steemit is Saturday, 16th August. It has started today. You can post even tomorrow.

• After posting your videos on YouTube, copy the link and make a post in steem4nigeria with the following criterias;
