Steem Growth/Personal Activity: June Challenge on Steemit by bossj23 — Week 2
Last week's challenge was damn. I couldn't believe I could actually draw so much strength in 2 days. I'll interview myself in this post. Before I do so, let me narrate my experience during the last challenge I held. The last challenge was all about commenting meaningfully on people's post. Trust me, commenting isn't just about saying words that would inspire but also about reading the post carefully, isolate some intriguing points, give commendations, give suggestions on improvements, question the author on certain things and extend the conversation [making it more engaging].
Like I said, I published the challenge late. It was supposed to start 1st of June but I published it on the 5th of June. So as punishment for doing so, I had to use the remaining days to complete my first challenge which is the comment challenge. To me, it was actually an impossible task but I achieved something even though I didn't complete the challenge before the week ran out.
Steem Growth/Personal Activity: June Challenge on Steemit by bossj23 — Week 1
Challenge: 100 comments
Comments made: 67
Duration: 2 days
Target attained: No.... Incomplete
Exactly....Road construction is a team effort and your pictures show how committed the villagers are towards working for the betterment of their own village. In my village, the government finds it difficult to repair roads because the villagers needs compensation before work is done. Just imagine. Anyways, is the work still in progress or it's done?
Oh God ....Can I give myself such a treat? It's been a while I ate such a recipe. The presence of scent leaves give this goat meat pepper soup its aroma and taste. It much more complete when you add Udom pepper, that green pepper sold in the market. Anyways, thanks for sharing. If you don't mind, you can use the #food tag whenever you're creating such post. It helps in visibility and categorization. #creativewriting may not be the fitting tag.
It's quite unfortunate I didn't get to join last challenge because of my inability to raise a poultry farm as I don't own one. The cost of purchasing broilers in my country is quite exorbitant. But all the same, this is knowledge many animal farmers don't know. Most times broilers contact disease and dies. One may begin to raise questions as, what killed the entire set of broilers? Best of luck in this. Maybe I can take permission from a neighbour or friend to use his poultry farm for the challenge.
Your younger brother looks very much like you in terms of those prominent eyes of his. He must have enjoyed a whole lot with you. You made this diary game so perfect that it incorporates nature, social life, food and movies. But can I ask? Did you run overtime, trying to blend these activities or you did them without a schedule?
Good to see you review a mart in your city. These are places where majority say it's the closed market and you can't bargain prices of things. The mart you shared is neat from the pictures and it's good to know that it's a populous place. Do they sell things in bulk like bag of rice, wheat etc or it's just things contained in the shelves. Do they also have a warehouse?

5 comments out of the 67 made
These are a few comments I made and the comments are shared in the comment section of this post as evidence that I did something. My concluding this comment challenge doesn't mean I should stop commenting on people's posts or replying to comments. It's a motivation to me that I can be an engaging user on this platform while still creating contents. It's part of my growth on Steemit which I'm trying to uphold.
I didn't complete the challenge. My bad because it was my first challenge, but there's a saying that every disappointment is a blessing. Yes, it was a blessing in disguise because even though it was just for 2 days, I made a total of 91 comments plus replies and got featured in the Make Noise Project as the second on the list. This was an achievement to me even though I didn't complete the challenge I set.

What do we have this week?
Participating in 2 Contests daily for 1 week
Can I do this? Yes I can. Through the help of @disconnect who publishes contests on a daily basis, I can get to see contests that are simple and easy to do. Since the challenge is starting today, I'm expected to participate in 2 contest which I've already participated in one for today and the winners have been announced.

On a daily basis, I'll be publishing the links to the contests made on the comment section of this post. These are a few conditions. Since I just concluded the comment challenge and is now participating in the contest challenge, I'll integrate the following.
For every contest I participate, I must vote and comment on at least 2 entries
Follow the sequence for contests expiration except otherwise.
A minimum of 400 words.
Be versatile
These are a few conditions to my challenge this week. I think I should try and win a particular contest in all that I would be participating in. Why this challenge?
The essence of this challenge isn't just to make me an active content creator but also a knowledgeable one. Participating in different contests exposes me to people's ideas and knowledge which may differ from mine. It also gives me insight into thinking out of the box [creativity]. If I can successfully hit my target daily, I can't be inactive except otherwise.
What do you say? I'm doing this to keep track of my activities on Steemit and also grow, not just by steem power but also my blog.
