It's actually interesting that we have an intrusion in the steem retro game. We had Space invasion, steem pong and now we have what seem to be like the hardest of them all, pentris. I'll talk about the last game later. My bone of contention is in the second game which is the steem pong game. I had to challenge 2 Steemians to play this game with me and they did. This is the only way I can possibly enjoy the game to its fullest.

The Steemians I challenged were already challenged before in the steem memory game. During our healthy competition, I got the highest score and was crowned the winner of the game. So since it was a challenge, I said to myself that anyone who could beat my high score will get 4 steems from me. This was a challenge and is a healthy challenge. The users are;

@mkgirl77Steem coin
@bossj23Clock
@mp2Dollar sign

These were our zodiac signs for this challenge and we were after hitting our signs first. I was lucky enough to hit the clock before other coins. You may be wondering how I navigated my bar to bounce in a pattern that won't send my ball going off its bait. Don't worry, I'll explain better. Let me start with my first challenger in person of @mp2.

Dollar mp2 steem pong play

Mp2 is one determined person that doesn't give a fuck about how he plays or how others view his gameplay. From the voice notes he recorded to me which he'll create a post in no time, he stated to me that it was quite challenging balancing his ball. He said that his first bounce made him lose 3 lives because the ball hit the side of the bar. It's actually rewarding if you can control it he said.

He noticed that he gained more points whenever his ball hit the side of his bar and started moving in a way unworthy of the gameplay, making him lose his lives. He played 5 times for free as that was part of the rule. His lowest score was ** 400 and his highest score was 1036**.

He also stated that he lacked focus at some point, i.e.when he started experiencing losses in his lives at point 50.

mkgirl77 game play, the steem warrior coin

Mkgirl77 actually gave me a good hit in the steem memory game but I got her with 14 points. She came with so much vigor this time around and made it seem like she was attacking me, but I showed her her place. I was literally surprised how I scored what I scored which I'll tell you soon. Anyways, you'll get to hear from me soon. This is what she posted.

This game resembles arcade games like Pong or breakout, where you control a ball using a paddle to prevent it from falling off. I started off with a roughly mostly because I didn't understand the game play, I was hoping for a tutorial or an instruction on how to begin. The strategy I used was that I had to predict where the ball was about falling off from, keeping the paddle in the centre was a helpful strategy too. A big mistake I made was misjudging the ball's angle, mostly when it moves faster than the usual speed. I lost with 400+ points because of the ball falling off too much from the paddle, depleting all my lives.

She literally scored 427 while @mp2 scored 1036 What about me? What was my score? You'll be shocked because I never expected such a gameplay.

The challenger, bossj23

Losing 4 lives on my first hit was discouraging that I never thought I would go this far. How can I possibly use 6 lives and play to the top when the ball starts moving at an increased speed?

Let me tell you my survival story. It was definitely a mission impossible for me. After losing 4 lives, I was so determined to protect the remaining 6 like my life depends on it. I lost the 4 because I was just carefree about the paddle or bar. I didn't give much attention to angles. My initial play was enough to weigh me down but the strategy I used was ultimate focus. I was like — follow the ball wherever it went. Don't assume the direction. Just follow and you'll definitely protect the ball. I did that quite a couple of times and got used to following the ball even when it was close to the trend line.

I played once, quite interesting to hear not so? I played once and got 1279 points at a blow. This was my highest so far. I've not had a high score above 1000 before. I was literally feeling myself. The gap I gave both of them was just sufficient to make them feel they can't attain such height. I was close to hitting 1300 when everything fell apart.

After everything, we had a good time on WhatsApp social media where we joined a video call and then talked about some things. The game ended with me as their winner. So I'll keep my steems for the next challenge.

Thank you for the Upvote Sir @wilmer1988 but there is nothing wrong with that first post you voted on. It's just that some people will wake up and decide to do things based on assumptions. She labelled me Ai use suspicious with no valid evidence and I've requested for a reason which she hasn't given until now. You can check the post yourself if it's Ai relative. Even though you removed the post because of two an existing curator vote there, I still have to voice out because the labeller hasn't replied to me yet. I'm not making a rash decision. It's just that even I as a moderator won't label someone without concrete evidence.

@wakeupkitty see what your label has caused? I feel this is just getting started because that post features me in my project and seminar defense.
