SLC26-W3 // "Cookies Cup"
I am excited to try this challenge again. This is an addition to my knowledge on the previous week challenge and great opportunity for improvement.
Make cookie cups; you can make the recipe presented in this class with the indicated quantities or you can vary quantities, ingredients according to availability, use chocolate chips or pieces, and the shape of the cookie cups is mandatory (detail the step-by-step preparation). Include a poster with the final presentation of your cookie cup with your username, date of presentation, and the hashtag #cookietimes26w3 . (7 Points)
Ingredients
420 grams of flour
225 grams of butter
130 grams of brown sugar
100 grams of white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
150 grams of chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Capacillos
Sprinkles
Cupcake mould
Procedure
Step 1:
Measure and scale all the ingredients and set them aside for an easy process.
In a clean, dried bowl, add in the flour, the baking powder and the cinnamon powder.
Give it a quick mix and set it aside.
Step 2:
In another clean and dried bowl, add in the butter and both brown and white sugar.
Mix it using a spatula or hand mixer until the sugars and butter are well mixed.
Step 3:
Then add in the two eggs and vanilla essence.
Give it a quick mix and then add in the flour little by little while still mixing until all the flour has been added.
Step 4:
Continue to mix until the ingredients have been well combined.
Then, add in some chocolate chips and fold everything in till the chocolate chips are well incorporated.
Step 5:
Transfer the dough into cling film or a plastic bag and wrap properly.
Place the already wrapped dough in the refrigerator for two hours. This will help in working on the dough easily.
Step 6:
After the two hours have elapsed, bring out the dough and cut it into portions.
Form a basket with the dough according to the size of the cookie pan and place them in the capacillos in the cookie pan.
Step 7:
Put in your fillings
and form a small cupcake-sized lid cover and cover the fillings properly by pressing it in with fingers. The covering should not exceed the height of the cookie pan.
Step 8:
After that, place the pan into an already heated oven at 160°C and bake for about 20 to 25 minutes. Once the cookies are ready, decorate them with the toppings of your choice before they cool down completely.
This should be done quickly because the cookies harden when they have completely cooled down.
What are your favorite types of sweet fillings? (1 point)
My favourite types of fillings are candies, sprinkles and chocolate chips, which I used.

What did you think of this variation of the chocolate chip cookie dough? (1 point)
This chocolate chip cookie dough is very nice; better than the previous chocolate chip cookies. This is because one has to vary the quantities according to your taste, and the fact that we used capacillos gives it that room for fillings and cupcake shapes.
I am glad that I participated in this challenge. I look forward to more challenges like this.
