MY NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH #105 — Reporting Events around us
Most times I wander what Nigeria leaders do while on that presidential height. I watch myself crying over the cases of dead people in Benue states. Herdsmen attacking our people, killing our people, commiting murder day by day. Yet! The government are silents. I keep saying this heartily:
we didn't raise hook-ups politician
we didn't raise quack leaders
we didn't raise blind rulers!
But we see flocks of them in their native attires, carrying heavy men that will protect their dead bodies, meanwhile the active masses remained dumb. This is what Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traoré president revisited over the decades. Nigerians are lovers of purity not deadity. But our political father's keep proving that what we voted wasn't purity but dead corpse in human flames.

This one thing I sat and watch back in decades, as Nigeria lives it Amazon down to a poorest state. People die of hunger. And I wander, what's the role of leader. To me, Nigeria is not yet govern. I don't believe there's political influence anymore. Everyone are leaders. Everyone are rulers. We rule ourselves the way we think. Indeed, books of Wole Soyinka finally come to play 👉 things fall apart. Why would Nigeria not crash? After having a Yoruba-Hausa political rulers, no South, no East. Riverians, Delta's, Igbos, Ibibios and Efikians treated roughly. Everybody seems to be in culprit.
I thought the Russia-ukraine war must'd awaken our spirits to realize we were zoomed into caging. And the only way out is vi-o-lence taking it by force mantling.
2020 Nigeria was in 66% list of richest country in Africa. But as of today, Nigeria is hitting 0.0005% of the most poorest. Naira is no longer valuable. It's like a waste of cargo. And I asked: when exactly will Nigeria resume office and an average Nigerians can compete with a New-York billion earner? When exactly will Nigeria resume office and a just-graduated students earns a return that cost a house of a U.S.A trillionaire daughter? When exactly will Nigeria resume office and a common vulcanizer earns more than a banker in Kuwait?
Yes I watch! I pray! I cry! But my country falls into a big hole where bad shark surrounds. Only if this shark can be killed, converted to good shark, that's when Nigeria can be revived.
Pardon me readers. Let me applaud the oracle of this house for this inspiration. Thanks @xkool24 for always reminding us of sharing what happen around us.
Nigeria is in big mess. Let's repair it in 2027. Thanks.
I invite @bossj23 and @chisom77 to participate in this contest

MOD Comment/Recommendation:
Thanks for sharing this with us. You've said a lot of things our leaders failed to do and need to improve on but this isn't the essence of this neighborhood watch post. We're not to generalise but to be specific. For example; on the 6th of July, I witnessed the senate president given out 50 bags of rice to the poor. I collect a bag. You show pictures as proof. That's where you tie this contest in. I hope you do this in your next post as you were general.
