Derricks POV

Dora came running to me, I was so surprised she found out where I was, I've been watching that maid there for a long time, she's still keeping up that brave spirit, she pisses me the hell off.
I mean how does one know she's wrong and she really doesn't want to admit it.

"Derrick!" My sister said when she came here
"Dora, go back to your room" I told her
"You really think she'll try to poison, you I know and trust she didn't spike your meal, you drank something right? Why don't you check it out and be sure you are not punishing an innocent person, what will people say if the find out you punished the wrong person, for crying out loud she'll pass out!" Dora said in one breath
Wow she should get an award for being a fast talker.

"Why do you trust her so much" I asked her
"Because she's a good person!" Dora replied and left me

I sent someone to inspect the meal and the drunk as well, I just did it, I'm sure it's that Danika's doing.

"My prince the results are out"

I smiled gently and sipped at my drink "Speak!!" I told him
"Sir we checked the meal, it had absolutely no trace of nuts in it, and then we checked the drink it was spiked sir, and we found the maid that did it, the same one that gave you the medicine"
I was so shocked when I heard that, I mean I've literally hurt my pride, my sense of judgement, people will think I'm a partial person, who is that maid that played smart with me under my watch.
A girl was pushed forward and every look on her face screamed guilty.
She moved to me and grabbed my feet
"My Lord I am very sorry, it was a mistake, I'll do anything you want, even.... If you want me my prince anything at all" She said

I almost threw up, she literally disgusts me
"Throw her into the dungeon and don't release her till I give the command!!!"

I can't believe I'm doing this, I went down to Danika.

"Turns out you were innocent! Get up and go in!" I told her
I noticed a victorious smile.

She stood up but fell down immediately, I tried to hold her but...

"Get off me! You don't deserve to pity me, if it's so easy for someone to deceive you, a so-called prince" she said

How dare she say that!!, I know I was wrong but this is just outrageous, my gosh.

She kept on limping forward, I looked at where she touched me, and I saw blood on my garment... Did she injure her hand?
Suddenly I heard a loud thud... She fainted

Danika's POV

I shoved the arrogant prince away and kept on walking, my head was spinning, my knees were weak and I couldn't feel my hands, I suddenly felt like I was seeing millions of stars and I couldn't move anymore, I fell and I'm sure I hit my head too hard....

I felt I was being carried, I wanted to struggle but I heard a voice...
"Stay put!" The voice said and I had no idea why I obeyed it, and drifted off.

The next time I opened my eyes, I saw Dora by my bed looking at me with a worried expression, my head still hurt, but I could feel some parts of my body again.

"Princess Dora?" I said weakly
"My goodness you're awake, will you drink water, does anywhere in your body hurt, do you need to sit up, I was so worried about you" She said

I smiled, she looked so cute when she talks a lot
"I'm fine princess, did they catch the culprit, I don't want such a situation to occur again" I said

"That my brother, he is super annoying, hang on there let me get you something to eat!" She said and left immediately, she's such a busy body, but she's nice.
