Christian Conventions - A delight

Dear esteemed friends in this community, it is of good heart I am writing this post to you all. Today I would love to talk about my Christian conventions and how it really benefitted me, so let's talk.....

Convention

Christian conventions are gatherings that Christians all over a specific circuit gets invited to enjoy much more higher spiritual food, which fills our mind and heart with joy knowing that Jehovah our God truly cares for and appreciates us.

Conventions are meant to be strengthening and upbuilding, our conventions are usually held in 3 days, that is Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Within those 3 days they are segmented into morning and afternoon section, there is always a break in-between which allows the people to have their lunch before going back to our afternoon section, which may also last to 4pm in the evening.

On Saturday morning, we see people who have dedicated their live to Jehovah our Father getting baptized. Baptism is a public declaration of ones dedication to Jehovah, dedication is done silently.

There are times when the convention is declared Special, which means that people from all over the world will come to specific location, either a stadium or a spacious and well ventilated hall, when this happens plans are being made to entertain the special guest, song choirs can be organized along with different delicacies of food.

Unexpected Assistance

Our conventions require planning and funds. That is why our organization informs us like 6 months ahead. I chatted some young friends outside my country and tried persuading to help us with transportation fare to the convention. I told them that things are difficult in the country, so, many people cannot afford the transport fare which they were aware of.

To my surprise, he agreed to not only pay for the transport fare but paid for the breakfast and lunch for all in my group. It was massive and we thanked God who made it possible.

So we attended this years convention and enjoyed every bit of it.

Conclusion

For this year's convention me and my wife attended in our general assembly hall, it was rich in spiritual food and it was so interesting, at the end of the convention me and my wife took a picture which you can see above, so I urge you all to try to visit our convention sometime this in your locations. You will not regret it.
