My Sunday Was Truly a Wonderful Wonder! 🎶

Hello Steemians,
I hope you’re doing well today. I’d love to share how my Sunday went. It was a day full of joy, responsibility, worship, family moments, and reflection. Sometimes, the simplest days leave the greatest impact, and this Sunday was one of those for me.

Morning Session

The morning greeted me with calmness, the kind of quiet that sets the perfect tone for worship. Unlike an ordinary Sunday, this one felt different. I was responsible for the ministration.

At first, I had no idea which song to sing. Many options crossed my mind, but none felt right. Then I remembered my choir master’s advice: “Always prayerfully choose a song. The right song will carry the presence of God.”

Subsequently, I prayed about it, and by Wednesday, the answer became clear—“Wonderful Wonder” by Nathaniel Bassey. It’s an old song, but its meaning is timeless. Excited, I gathered the choir, taught them the parts, and with God’s grace, we blended our voices beautifully. Every harmony came together in unity.

On Sunday morning, I rushed to church and arrived at 8:32 am, still rehearsing the lyrics in my mind. Service began at exactly 9:10 am, and everything flowed smoothly. Since I was ministering, I arranged with the technical team to project the lyrics for the congregation.

Finally, the time came. My heart raced, but as the first notes played, my nervousness melted away. It wasn’t me anymore—it was God ministering through me. The atmosphere changed. People clapped, danced, and sang with joy. Their faces shone with smiles, and I knew in that moment that heaven was rejoicing with us.

After the ministration, I returned to my seat and later helped with projection while the pastor delivered a powerful sermon. The service was filled with the Spirit from start to finish. My choir master later pulled me aside to thank me for my effort, and his words meant a lot. By 12:30 pm, I was back home, still smiling and replaying the whole experience in my mind.

Afternoon Session

Just when I thought I could rest, my mom asked me to go to the market to buy some ingredients. Honestly, I was drained, but as they say, “Parents’ words carry blessings when obeyed.” So, I went to the market and got everything she needed.
When I returned, my mom prepared a pot of delicious soup. The aroma was enough to revive my tired body. When I finally sat down to eat, every spoonful was satisfying. It wasn’t just food—it was comfort, love, and home wrapped together on one plate. That meal reminded me how small acts of obedience can lead to big blessings.
After eating, I took some time to rest, lying down and thinking about the highlights of the morning.

Evening Session

As the sun set, I stepped out to buy some snacks. The cool evening breeze felt refreshing, almost as if God was wrapping me in peace. When I got back home, I spent time in quiet reflection.
I thought about the service, the smiles on people’s faces, and the way the church danced to "Wonderful Wonder." That was more than music—it was ministry. I realized again that God doesn’t call us to be perfect but to be available vessels. That night, I whispered a simple prayer of thanks: “Lord, thank You for using me. May I always be available for You.”

The evening taught me a deeper lesson—that worship doesn’t end with the last note of a song. True worship continues in obedience, in gratitude, and in how we reflect God’s love daily.
That was how my Sunday went—a day of joy, worship, family, and reflection. I am grateful to God for His presence, for my choir, for my family, and for the strength to carry out all my responsibilities.
