I am excited to participate in the week no 4 of the challenge. I have watched many movies but about time travel I have never watched and I searched for the time travel and then I selected the "predestination 2014".

Let's have a look in the detail on the "predestination 2014".

The predestination is based on the famous story in the year of 1959 All you zombie.It holds one of the most mind expanding concepts of the time travel ever brought to the screen. In the story of predestination the use of the time travel is not to alter the past but to attain it. Every act taken by the characters in the story make sure that the continuance of a closed causal loop.There is no actual starting point creating a sequence of events that is both self observing and ineluctable.

The film doesn't depend on futuristic technology. The time machine is a small violin with the dials which makes the process of the travel mysterious. The characters in this movie jump back in 1945 - 1990s but the spiritual, emotional and psychological outcomes are what make the time travel feel heavy in this movie.

Plot twist

The plot of the predestination is designed as a riddle.A seller who is a time travelling agent too, meets a customer who is mysterious- he was a young man who writes confession tales whose title was Unmarried mother.The man tells a strange story of the life with being deserted baby, who grow up as a girl who's name was Jane , who joined a secret program, fell in love with a man, become pregnant and then undergo redistribution surgery because of a rare case. and then becomes John from Jane.

What is twist here? The twist is that Jane fell in love with John. and who is John? John is that man who left her , and the baby she gives birth to is herself - taken back to the time to become Jane. She was her own parents.The final twist discloses that the customer, John and have are the same people, at the different points in the movie.

Time machine climax

In the predestination the time machine is simple but representative.It looks like a violin and transportable. inside the violin the dials are rotating that let the users to select the years.

The climax occurs when the agent must select whether to murder his future self, fizzle bomber. he has seen how time and damage fractured him. He persists that he saves lives by attacks and he is fighting and arguing that he is trying to prevent the worse problems.

The agent discards this sense and kills him, committing not to become that a different side of himself. But in a final scene, we learn the cycle still repeat But the question remains the constant: can he ran away the fate that he already lived?

Themes and symbolism

The question in the film is that John or Jane who is the victim and who is the criminal, who is the parent and who is the child, who is hero and who is the villain.

The story juncture on the concept of predestination. There is no matter what the characters do, the film actually asks, are we actually Hindi control of our destiny?

Actually John /Jane is that character who is alone. Not only spiritually and emotionally but also existing alone. This isolation becomes a representation of the desires of the humans for affection and connection.
