What are/those Proverbs or adages you believe to be true, and how did you get to hear or know about them?

"What you sow is what you reap" is the proverb that I believe to be true. It was from my parents that I first heard about the proverb, which was when I was growing up, and I still heard about the proverb when I was in secondary school, in the church, and even as of 2 months ago, I heard about the proverb. It is a common saying in Nigeria that is often said to remind people that their actions, whether bad or good, will eventually return to them.

Why do you believe that saying is true? Do you know of or have any experience that confirms this proverb or adage

Yes, I believe it is true because I have seen the proverb play out in real life. For example, whenever I dedicate my time and effort to my studies for an examination, I perform well and usually get good results. Also, I have seen people who neglected their responsibilities and later faced the consequences in life. This shows that the principle behind the proverb is real because it is our choices that create our outcome.

Do you think the relevance of this proverb will be preserved in the next few generations to come

Yes, to date, the proverb is still relevan,t, and it will continue to remain relevant. Our lives are built on cause and effect, and the future generations will still face situations in life where their actions produce consequences. Despite the fact that technology and lifestyle may change, the truth of the proverb; "You reap what you sow" will always apply in relationships, education, personal growth and work.
