Watch a movie that involves time travel with a major plot twist.
24 is a 2016 Tamil science fiction thriller film directed by Vikram Kumar. It stars Suriya in triple roles. It also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen. The film explores themes of Time travel, family, and moral dilemmas related to power.
Time Machine... is an evergreen concept in the world of cinema, howver it gives a non logical imagination for filmmakers. Hollywood often makes films in this theme. In Tamil, there are rarely one or two.
Only if there is commitment beyond success and failure can stories like '24' be made into films. In that sense, producer Suriya is more praiseworthy than hero Suriya. Filming a heavy subject like time travel, which fans cannot easily believe, in a way that makes them believe, is really risky. The film should make the audience understand it and keep them interested for more than two and a half hours without any questions arising in their minds. The '24' team has made that possible.

The story revolves around a scientist who invents a time travel watch. The story follows the conflict between scientist and his evil twin brother, the nemesis, who tries to misuse the time machine watch for his own gain. The film delicately intertwines the past, present, and future, creating a complex yet engaging storyline that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.
Scientist Sethuraman, one of the 'Twin' brothers, is so genius that he can fit a time machine into a watch. Atreya, the villain, does not hesitate to kill his own brother to get hold of that watch. As a result, Scientist Surya dies in a fight between the brothers in 1990. 26 years later, Scientist Sethuraman's son, Mani, has told us at length what he does with the watch his father invented!
Actor Suriya plays three characters: Sethuraman, Athreya, and Mani. Needless to say... Of these, Athreya scored half a century. Suriya's look and kick as a rough and tough villain are good. But Athreya gets the usual 'don and rowdy villain' jobs. Mani's character is enjoyable with its mischievousness, for a few laughs.
Overall, 24 is a well-crafted film that combines science fiction and emotional storytelling. Suriya's strong performance, impressive direction, and impressive visuals make it a unique film in Tamil cinema. The film appeals to a wide range of audiences, including those who enjoy thrillers and science fiction. It is a must-watch for Suriya fans and anyone interested in innovative storytelling in Indian cinema.
