My sad Monday morning in office// 02-06-2025.
It was supposed to be a typical Monday morning for me at my office. My customers (University of Uyo students) were trickling in, dropping off their term papers to be printed and bound. I was busy attending to them, my new Infinix X6532C phone sitting on the table, charging away.
But in an instant, my Monday morning took a turn for the worse. As I was handing over a finished job to a group of students from Uniuyo, one of them, in their haste to rush out and submit their assignment, accidentally dragged the charging cord, sending my phone crashing to the floor.

I watched in horror as my two-week-old phone's screen went blank. The sound of shattering glass still echoes in my mind. I felt a pang of sadness and frustration. How could this have happened? I had been so careful with my new phone.

The customer who had caused the accident was mortified. She apologized profusely, begging for my forgiveness. I couldn't stay mad at her, though. Accidents happen, and I knew she hadn't done it intentionally.
I took a deep breath and accepted her apology. But now, I'm faced with the reality of a broken phone screen. I hadn't budgeted for repairs, and it's going to be a stretch to find the money to fix it. But I have no choice.
My phone is a vital tool for my business, and I need it up and running as soon as possible. As I sit here, staring at my broken phone, I'm reminded that sometimes life throws us curveballs.
But it's how we respond that matters. I'll have to swallow my disappointment and find a way to fix my phone. After all, as they say, "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade."
Thank you for going through my post. Do have a great time ahead.
