Talent Hunt: Mr. Ibanga (KSM) Under 14 Football Tournament.

Today I am here to share with you the moments as one of the media team of Sunday's Football Match. I hope you all will get time to read and also share your thoughts.

On Sunday, August 3, 2025 I attended the official kickoff of the Mr. Ibanga (KSM) Under 14 Football Tournament. Held at St. Philip's Primary School in Use Offot, Uyo, Nigeria.

The event was a momentous occasion that brought together young football enthusiasts and their supporters. I snapped pictures throughout the event as a media personnel to promote the tournament and also share it with my good friends of Steemit community.

The tournament was sponsored by Mr. Ibanga, a founder and manager of "Sanctus Football Academy". A native of Use Offot village, Mr. Ibanga flew in from Dublin, Ireland, according to him with a mission to discover young football talents and provide them with opportunities to shine in Europe through what he called "TALENT HUNT".

In his opening speech, Mr. Ibanga explained that his 16 years of experience in Europe had equipped him with the knowledge and connections to help young footballers succeed.

He said his aim is to identify talented players between the ages of 12 and 14 and provide them with sponsorship and a chance to pursue their football dreams in Europe.

The tournament was expertly organized by the Emmanuel Oboy Football Organizing Committee. Despite the primary school football field not being a standard pitch, the organizers ensured that the event ran smoothly, with professional referees, assistant referees, medical teams, and commentators.

The opening match was an intense encounter between Pillars Football Academy and Macito Solutions Academy. The game was played for the full 90 minutes, with Macito Solutions Academy emerging victorious with a 1-0 win.

I was thrilled to not only witnessed the excitement and skill displayed by the young players, but also being the part of the media team to showcase Mr. Ibanga's good gesture for his community to the world.
