Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 106: If I were to be a Billionaire
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
By the blessings of Allah. I am completely fine and I hope that you are all fine too. The weather had improved a lot with the rains, but now it has become very hot again. Tell me, how are you guys spending your days there with this hot weather?
So let's move on to the amazing contest and answer these amazing questions.
If you were a billionaire or eventually become a billionaire someday, list the things you would have done or loved to do. Tell us reasons why you'd like to do them. |
---|
Billionere, wao! If I were a billionaire, then, the first thing I will do to take care of my parents. My wish is that my parents live a peaceful life. They lived without any problem of money. InshaAllah, I also make big charity hospital in my village. Because I see many poor people who can’t buy medicine. Education is also important, so I will open schools for orphans and needy children. Another dream is to travel with my family to holy places and give them the best moments of life. I will also invest in businesses that give jobs to many people. The reason behind all these is simple: I want my wealth to make life easy for others, not only for me. Because money is useless if it doesn’t spread happiness.
List at least 3-5 billionaires you know and what you admire about them. |
---|
There are few billionaires I admire. First is Bill Gates, because of his charity and helping poor countries with health projects. Second is Elon Musk, he inspires me with his hard work and innovation in technology. Third is Warren Buffet, because he lives simple life even with big wealth. Fourth is Jeff Bezos, I admire his courage to build Amazon from zero. Fifth is Aliko Dangote, the richest man in Africa, because he proved that success is possible from this continent too. I am fan all of them is not only money, their strong will, their vision and their hard work. They all show us that dreams can become real if we are ready to work will all heart for them.
Do you think being a billionaire can solve all your problems? Give your reason. |
---|
No, being a billionaire cannot solve all problems. Cash can solve financial problem like food, house, health. But it cannot buy happiness, peace or true love. There are rich people who have everything but still feel alone inside. For example, if someone is sick with a disease that has no cure, money can’t give him life again. Also, money cannot bring back lost family members. Few times money creates different problems like jealousy, fake friends and mental pressure. My believe, money is important for living, but this is not solution of every pain of life. Faith, love, respect and inner peace are more valuable than money.
Are there some challenges associated with being a billionaire? Enumerate them. |
---|
Yes, there are many challenges for billionaires. First, they don’t get privacy. Wherever they go, media and people follow them. Second, they face fake relationships. Many people come near them only for money, not for real friendship. Third, they always live under pressure to maintain their position, because everyone is competing with them. Fourth, security is a big challenge, as they can be target of robbery or kidnapping. Fifth, they can lose peace of mind because of stress, business risks, and too much responsibility. So, being a billionaire is not always a life of comfort. It is a life full of tests and struggles in another way.
Is being rich or millionaire against your belief as an individual? Explain |
---|
No, being rich or millionaire is not against my belief. In my faith, wealth is not bad if it is earned in a halal and honest way. The problem is not money, the problem is how we use money. If someone uses wealth only for pride and show-off, then it is wrong. But if someone uses it for good works, helping the poor, supporting family, and building society, then it is a blessing. Even in our religion, many companions were rich, but they spent their money for humanity. For me, I believe wealth is a trust from God, and we will be answerable for how we used it. So being rich is not wrong, but forgetting humanity because of wealth is wrong.
See you in the next post.
