Steem4Nigeria accelerator contest week 106: If I were to be a Billionaire

in Steem4Nigeria12 hours ago

How are you all my friends? Good morning, I would like to congratulate you all on my participation in this beautiful contest post. I hope you are all healthy. I really liked reading today's contest. Because we often dream, if one day I were very rich, especially a billionaire, what would I do?

Many of us may have this fantasy before going to bed or while talking to friends; it is normal. I have also dreamed since childhood, if one day I could own a lot of money, I would do something for people first. So today I am sharing the story of that fantasy with you. I hope you like it.

If I were a billionaire, what would I do?

First of all, if I had a lot of money, my goal would not be a great life. I would like to change the lives of common people. Due to change, people will always see me differently and think of me as an apple of their eye.

1. Work for the poor

Many people in my country live on half a plate every day. Many children cannot go to school because their parents cannot afford food. If I were a billionaire, I would create a big foundation where the foundation I created would bear all the expenses of education and medical treatment of poor children. I would also build shelters for the elderly, where they can live safely. They would live peacefully by eating two handfuls of food.

2. Invest in education and technology

I believe that education and technology are the most important things to carry forward a civilized society. If I had enough money, I would have built quality schools and libraries in villages. I would also open research laboratories and training centers for technological development, so that the youth can become skilled and build their own future. This would be my special goal.

3. Creating employment

Unemployment is a big problem in our country. Even after studying, middle-aged children do not get jobs on time. So I would invest in various industries and startups, so that thousands of young people would get job opportunities. In this way, I wanted to contribute to the country's economy. So that this unemployment problem in my country would be eliminated at least a little.

4. Fulfilling family and personal dreams

My family has suffered a lot for me. So giving them a comfortable life is also a responsibility for me. Along with that, I love to travel. So I also fulfilled my dream of visiting many beautiful places in the world.

Billionaires who inspire me

    1. Bill Gates – He is not only the founder of Microsoft, but his charity work inspires me the most. He has shown that money can be used not only for oneself, but also for society.
    1. Elon Musk – His courage to do something new is very inspiring to me. He is trying to change the world through technology.
    1. Warren Buffett – His investment skills and simple lifestyle fascinate me. Even though he is a billionaire, he lives very simply.
    1. Jeff Bezos – He has made the lives of people around the world easier by redesigning e-commerce.
    1. Mukesh Ambani – Has made a huge contribution to the Indian economy and created jobs for millions of people.

Is being a billionaire the solution to all problems?

In my opinion, no. Money can solve many problems, such as medical care, education, and a comfortable life etc. But not all problems. Peace of mind, love in the family, finding sincere friends—these cannot be found with money. Many rich people have a lot of money, but they are not happy.

Some challenges of becoming a billionaire

  • Life is not easy even for those who become billionaires.

  • The problem of security always persists.

  • Many jealous people are created around.

  • Personal freedom decreases because everyone is watching.

  • Sometimes it becomes difficult to recognize true relationships because of money.

  • So being a billionaire does not always mean being happy.

Does this conflict with my beliefs?

I think being rich is not a bad thing. On the contrary, if money is used correctly, it opens the way to many good things. However, blindly chasing money can cause harm in life. I will always want to control money, not let money control me.

Finally, friends, if I were a billionaire, I wouldn't just spend money on my own comfortable life. I would want that money to benefit society, to benefit people. Because the true value of money is understood only when it lights up the lives of others.
