Hello Steemit fam,

‎I want to share my honest experience learning how to trade crypto. It’s not been easy, but I believe someone out there might relate or even learn from my story.

‎I started trading after hearing about it through Steemit. At first, I thought it would be easy — just watch a few YouTube videos, follow some signals, and boom, profit. But reality hit me hard. I joined trades using signals from Telegram, entered without planning, and the losses kept coming. I even lost the $100 I earned from Steemit.

‎Now let me tell you something important:
‎Some people think trading is just a simple buy low and sell high thing. It sounds easy until you enter a real chart — that’s when it gets overwhelming. Trading is like, you learn 1 method, you come to realize other 3 more methods and you begins to wonder: how am I going to master this? What I’ve come to realize is that watching YouTube alone will only confuse you more, especially if you’re learning without proper guidance.

Every traders on YouTube have their own strategy they work on, so jumping from one YouTube videos to another will expose you to different strategies and the funny part is that you're likely to try it out.

Sometime it's works , sometimes it's not. But guess, you only got yourself confused because when you opened a chart you don't really know your edge, the strategy and you try to complicate all of them in one trade. This is exactly what am going through.

‎And yes, some people trade using signals — you just pay a little fee and you’ll be added to a group. Once a trade setup is dropped, you follow it. Some people make money that way, and I’m not condemning it. But if you’re serious about learning to trade for yourself, I don’t think that’s the best way. You won’t even know why you entered a trade. Right or wrong, it doesn’t help your learning process.

‎One of my biggest challenges has been confidence. I’d analyze a chart and still hesitate. Sometimes I’d ignore my setup, other times I’d rush in and lose. I kept asking myself, “Is this really for me?”

‎Another challenge is time. I work as a salesboy during the day, and my boss doesn’t allow phone usage. At night, my guardian also restricts phone time. I usually sleep by 11:30. That makes it hard to keep up with trades or even write.

‎But even with all the frustration, I haven’t given up. I’ve learned some key lessons:

-📌Don’t rely on signals — learn to analyze for yourself.

‎ -📌 Risk small, especially when starting.

‎-📌Be patient: A good trade will always come.

-📌Use alerts if you can’t always check the chart.

Trading has taught me discipline. I’m still learning, and I take notes on every trade — win or lose.

‎ If you're someone like me, feeling overwhelmed whenever you want to trade, remember that I also experienced the same, and luckily to you it happened to all the beginners if am not wrong. To my dear experience trader, I will love to take correction and recommendations. Let's connect together.

‎Thanks for reading 🙏

My crypto trading journey has not been smooth; it’s a battlefield of emotions and strategy. Losses taught me humility, while gains reminded me of persistence. Understanding charts, trends, and timing requires discipline. The greatest lesson is patience, because in trading, wisdom grows only through practice and consistent learning.

That means you now understand the game
The good thing is that you been able to at least make to some gains more than your losses. How long did it takes to know this?

Bro one thing I noticed is that market will humble you, you can read everything in the book, grab it off head, memorize it but as soon as you enter a chart you're like you never know anything about it, has it happened to you before. There's this strategy am learning, SMT and top down analysis. Am still practicing and last week, I miss all the trade.
