From Doubt to Confidence – How I Faced My Fear and Finally Won
Bro, I never cared much about winning — I just wanted to know if I could actually do this.
Before joining the challenge, I read different participants’ posts, and they were awesome. I thought to myself, “Do I even have the skills to brainstorm this kind of idea?”
But then I said, “How would I know if I don’t try?”
There were times I wrote stuff in my notepad, but I always gave up. When I read other entries, I felt I could never match their level, so I quit.
Also, the last story I wrote got a discouragingly low score. That pushed me further away from the learning challenge.

But This Time Felt Different
While reading through some of the new entries, I noticed most people were missing something — the host pointed it out.

That must be the gem, I told myself. So I went back to the contest hints, read them carefully, and listed every point out.
Then I tried writing based on what I understood from those points.
Believe me, I always missed the gem in the past — and the host promised to reveal it later. Even though I had a clue this time, I couldn’t say I found it fully.
So this post is kind of like a journal, just reflecting on what happened and what I did.

How I Wrote the Story
I sat outside with a paper and pen, staring at the sky, trying to figure out how to plan the story.

I wrote down each point then tackle them
At some point, the lines I imagined started making me smile like a crazy person.
Like this line:
“My wife is organizing a get-together, and I want you to come with me. I want to teach you a family lifestyle.”
My friend, who wasn’t paying attention to what I was doing, looked confused.
Let’s be real — if it were you, and you saw someone staring at the sky then suddenly smiling and writing, wouldn’t you be curious?

After Hitting the Post Button
After posting, I told myself, “At least I’ve tried. Let’s see how it goes.”
I had nothing to lose.
I even shared it on X.
Then came the review from the host — the real deal.
Score: 9.6/10.
Not bad at all! In fact, this was my highest score since I joined the learning challenge.
At least now I had a little bias — it felt like all that sky-staring paid off.
But still, I didn’t celebrate too much. Deep down, I felt the post deserved even more.

Then the Real Surprise Came
The next morning, I got a notification — the host mentioned me.
Ewee!
I checked it...
Boom. Third position.
The story I was hoping for — it played out.

Why I Wrote This Post
I’m celebrating this win — not just for the reward, but because of what I learned.
This post is a reminder of what I went through, and proof that you never really know what you can do unless you try.
For everyone who participated and got curious about the finer prompt, @dove has publish it, check it out on this link you might learn something from it. The post rate 9.9 by @waqarahmadshah, I think waqarahmadshah withdrew the 0.1% for personal reason..🤣🤣I come in peace ✌️
Thanks for reading.
