The movie I would like to share is "Act of Valor." Some of us may not know what that means, especially about 9/11. I read a similar story to this movie before, and they all played the same roles. If you'd like to read the book, you can get it online or purchase the original copy from a bookstore. The reason I mentioned the book is that it explains the history of survival, portrays warriors, and fallen heroes. "Act of Valor" portrays the memories of soldiers who lost their lives in service to protect their country.

Movie idea

Let's get to the main details of this movie. In simple terms, this movie is about a terrorist who sets off a massive explosion across Mexico through a suicide bombing. The movie begins with a heartbreaking moment in a school where hundreds of children were killed in just a split second.

The terrorists pretended to be ice cream sellers and launched an attack on the school compound. All the children rushed to grab some ice cream, unaware that it was the end of their lives. Unfortunately, the US Ambassador was there to pick up his kid, but the kid insisted on getting an ice cream. The Ambassador, who had been turning down the request, changed his mind, and they both went to the ice cream seller.

As soon as the Ambassador reached the ice cream van, the seller, who wore a nose mask to hide his identity, suddenly moved away, and there was a massive explosion caused by a suicide bomber. The Ambassador, his kid, and the school children were killed in broad daylight.

The news of this tragedy was reported on a news station across the newsroom. The second terrorist attack was on a CIA officer's home when they realized she was an undercover agent. Her partner was killed, and she was the last hostage. They tortured her mercilessly to confess her identity.

The SEAL team was alerted immediately to rescue her. The team sealed up with another team as backup, and they rescued the hostage. The soldiers faced many obstacles, and one soldier was injured. Though they succeeded in the mission, there was a big discovery from the CIA: the terrorist suicide bombing plan and the network.

Plot and setting

The plot and setting of the movie involve the SEAL team's mission to rescue the CIA officer and uncover a terrorist plot. Before the mission, the team spends time with their families, and they promise to return home as soon as possible. After the rescue, they uncover the threat posed by the terrorist and their next mission is to eliminate the target.

It was a tough decision, as the head of the terrorist group was moving from one country to another. With valid sources, the navy was able to catch up with Chris the drug smuggler, where they faced obstacles and enemies along the way.

The SEAL team discovered the warehouse used by the drug smuggler with detonated bombs. They reached a turning point where they had to confront the terrorists directly. In the ensuing gun battle, the team had to deal with the consequences of their actions.

After a long gun battle, the SEAL team encountered another threat: a woman who was a suicide bomber. They managed to save themselves from the explosion and surrounded the building, making it hard for Abu Shabal to escape.

The SEAL team burst in and shot down the enemies. In the middle of the run, the enemy threw a grenade to seal them, but Chief Dave sacrificed himself for his team. He jumped and covered the grenade with his body, saving his teammates.

The movie ends with Chief Dave's burial, conducted in a cemetery with the President of the United States present. All the team paid their last respects to the warrior, the hero who preferred to die as a hero according to his letter.

The letter reads:

..."Love your life, perfect your life,
purify all things in your life,
seek to make your life long,
and serve your people.
When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death,
so that when the time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live,
then live over again in the same way.
Sing your death song and die like a hero... going home."

If I were the director

If I were the director of the movie, I would do things differently. Chief Dave would survive and reunite with his family and newborn baby.

Here's how I would do it: after the mission, Chief Dave would be taken to the hospital, and the burial would be conducted without his body in the coffin. After three months, when he recovered, he would pay a visit to his wife and his newborn baby.

His wife would be surprised to see him, thinking he's a ghost. He would grab his wife, give her a lovely kiss, and tell her: "I WILL ALWAYS COME HOME" (his last words before he left for the mission). How does that idea sound... crazy, right?
