‎As a member of the proposing team, I stand to support the motion that riding a bicycle is easier to learn than driving a car. With personal experience and clear logic, I’ll show you why this motion holds weight.

‎Do you know how to ride a bicycle or a car?

‎They say you never forget how to ride a bike — but does that make it easier than learning to drive a car?

‎For me, even before I owned a bicycle, I already knew how to paddle. No mentor, no guidelines, no supervisor — just vibes. It sounds strange, right? Because the first stage of riding a two-wheeler is always tough. You must learn how to balance and control it. But somehow, I figured it out naturally, and I’m going to share how that happened.

Share the story of how you learnt to ride a bicycle or drive a car or both?

‎The easiest way to learn is with someone. But in my case, I was on my own. I didn’t have a bicycle yet, so I just practiced on any opportunity I found.

‎One of those came from my friend — he had a bicycle with a flat tire. Since he wasn’t using it, I took advantage of it. In their backyard, they had a sloped area, and that became my training ground.

‎Each time I visited, I’d go straight to the slope, hop on the bicycle, and push myself downhill. I did this multiple times, and little by little, I learned to balance. Before I knew it, I was paddling with full confidence.

‎So when I finally bought my own bicycle, I didn’t even need much learning again — I was ready.

‎Of course, I got wounded a few times during the learning process. But that didn’t discourage me. I discovered something about myself — I always find ways to figure things out alone. It might come with mistakes, but I always learn from them. And I still carry that ability with me today.

Tell us your opinion on which is easier to learn, riding a bicycle or driving a car? Support with reasons.

‎Some people will argue that driving a car is easier. They’ll say things like:

‎>"You don't need to burn energy. You just sit, control the steering, no sweat, no stress."

‎Yes, indeed, you’re not burning energy — but that’s exactly why riding a bicycle is the better option. Let me explain.

‎While you're spending money powering your car with fuel, I’m riding my bicycle and powering my body, burning fat, improving my health, and saving money at the same time. Riding a bicycle is not stress — it's free exercise and transportation combined. That’s two in one.

‎Besides, learning to ride a bicycle is way simpler. You don’t need driving school, no engine issues, no fuel checking, and definitely no fear of your machine stopping halfway because of a fault. Just get your bicycle, practice balancing and paddling, and you're good to go. Even as kids, many of us learned it early without much supervision. But with a car? You need to study traffic rules, know how to handle gear or automatic, deal with road stress, and even pass driving tests.

‎So for me, learning to ride a bicycle is easier and more practical — especially for anyone who wants independence without breaking the bank.

Conclusion

‎So my dear listener, from what I have explained whether it's riding a bicycle or driving a car, both have their place and value. But if we want to look at which one is easier to learn, more affordable, and keeps you healthy — bicycle takes the crown because it is simple, fun, and gives you a sense of freedom that no car can match.

‎One more thing, riding a bicycle teaches you how to balance, be disciplined, and also learn to endure. It’s budget-friendly, healthy, and beginner-friendly. With little to no training, I mastered it. But driving? That one needs a license, training, and money. Therefore, I strongly support that riding a bicycle is easier to learn than driving a car.

I would like to invite @issambashir, @josepha, @emmaboy23, @bossj23, and @saintkelvin17 to participate in this contest if they haven't yet.

‎Thanks for reading ✌️
