Hello Steemians and movie lovers,

As we step into the closing week of this stunning Movie Snapshot expedition, I perceive both prideful and thankful. From exploring global cinema to diving into magical robustness, each week gave us new perspectives. But this week is special — because it's not just about a film presently. It’s about me. It’s about you. It’s about how stories reflect real lives.

So, for this week’s theme" Your Life on Screen," I watched a film that deeply glasses my struggles, my culture, and my dreams. That movie is chosen for that week of movie snapshots your life on is “ Queen of Katwe. ”

🎬 Why I elected" Queen of Katwe"

This 2016 Disney motion picture tells the certifiable- biography narrative of Phiona Mutesi, a demoiselle from the slums of Katwe, Uganda, who discovers chess and transforms her hereafter. I reared up in a median vicinity myself, where openings were restricted, and dreams frequently seemed too big for actuality. Watching Phiona’s story felt like descrying a mirror held up to my own expedients, fears, and clashes.

💫 5 Motivations from the Movie That Keep Me Going

1. Your backdrop does n’t silhouette your tomorrow.

Phiona’s trip reminded me that where I come from does n't limit where I can go. This gives me the courage to keep structure, indeed when coffers are limited.

2. Mentorship matters.

Her trainer, Robert Katende, trusted in her before she accepted in herself. It formed me proliferate the many people in my life who’ve propelled me, guided me, and supported me arise.

3. You’re stronger than your circumstances.

When Phiona starts playing chess, she’s mocked, misdoubted, and indeed laughed at. But she proves them wrong with grace. That’s exactly how I feel occasionally — undervalued, but noway broken.

4. Dreams are valid, indeed when you can’t afford them.

Phiona dreams of having a house with a roof that does n’t leak. That scene made me cry because I’ve also wished for little comforts that others take for granted.

5. Family is everything.

Indeed in her hardest times, Phiona noway forgets her mama and siblings. That bond reminded me why I’m working so hard — not just for myself, but for the bones
I love.

My Favorite Character Harriet( Phiona’s Mother)

While Phiona’s story is inspiring, I was emotionally drawn to her mama , Harriet, played by Lupita Nyong’o. As a single mama , she’s fierce, defensive, and always offerings for her children — indeed when she does n’t understand the game of chess. She reminded me so much of my own mama , who has been my biggest guard, indeed when she did n’t completely understand my path.

🎥 Two Movies That Inspired Me This Year

1. “ 12th Fail ”

A important Indian film that tells the story of a poor pupil who fails numerous times but noway gives up. It encouraged me to enfold negligence as a end of my excrescence.

2. “ Hidden Figures ”

The narrative of luminous Black women working out at NASA. It reminded me of the weightiness of disrupting limitations, verily in localities where you are not anticipated to go over.

🌟 Final Thoughts

" Queen of Katwe" tutored me that your dream is valid, indeed when you’re not sure how to chase it. It indoctrinated me to be prideful of my origins and not guilty of modest onsets.

This challenge has not only made me watch good pictures — it made me suppose deeply about who I am, what I value, and why I keep pushing forward.

To everyone who feels unseen or unheard — remember

Let’s upkeep featuring, indeed when it’s hard. Let’s sustentation fighting, verily when it hurts.
