**Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 104: Debate: Riding a bicycle or driving a car **
It's thrilling to be in another contest in the Nigerian community. Many thanks @steem4nigeria moderators for the weekly engaging contests they bring. Let's head on.
I'm happy that I do know how to ride both a bicycle and drive a car.
I started learning bicycle riding at my maternal home. Back then, bicycles, were used to do a lot of things as opposed to today, So one day, I hopped on a bicycle and started pedaling, but because I was afraid,I kept looking at the pedals instead of where I was going to. I fell down and got a few bruises. This fear made me stop for a long time, until recently, I traveled to Nsukka and saw a boy riding a bicycle and the longing returned, but this time, once I mounted the bicycle, I already knew not to look down, so I focused my eyes in front of me. Now I can ride well.
As for the car, my mum just one day asked me to come with her to an open field near our house and that I was to begin my driving classes with her manual controlled car at the time. That was how we started oh. You needed to see me driving as though I had paralysis, because I couldn't afford to bash her car.
I did a few more runs for a while, then I travelled for like a year, by the time I came back, I think the skills had left me, I'll have to try again to find out or sure.
Based on my experience with both of them, I think riding a bicycle is easier ohh. Once you climb on the pedals, you're good to go as opposed to the different things you need to take note of with driving a car. The brakes, clutch, speed limit, and what nots.
Probably I'll have a different opinion with time, but for now, bicycles are way easier to learn. Anybody including children can be taught to ride a bicycle, it's not so for cars, and it is very essential to know how to ride at least one of these incase of emergencies. I invite @pandoradiary @hyacinthfavour @alexanderpeace to participate.
This is nice, learning to ride this bicycle nearly left a scare on my skin during my childhood, that one was always a papa's bicycle with a rode joining from the seat to the neck or handle of the bicycle. Since then I develop a phobia for riding this. But seeing you on this give me the encouragement that I can now overcome my fears go back to it one day.
I hope you will teach me how to ride dear friend.

Falling off a bicycle many times is a fear one has to conquer, one way or another. I hope you do learn to ride

Saying bicycle is easier than driving a car is your experience.
Me I think driving a car is not as difficult as learning to ride a bicycle.
Cars are automatically created for ease while bicycle is manual.
Well we're all different.
Keep steeming 💙
