Losing My Device Taught Me A Lot; Finally I Got A New One, A Replica; This is My Story

Hello Friends, it's been a hell of a ride through my moment of posting here when I lost my device, especially when it comes to multitasking, I couldn't reply to messages on time on discord and on Telegram for friends who could only contact me from there, because i feel like decades waiting for the application to load, i couldn't login to my binance on my previous device, because each transaction requires me to restart my device, giving it a free memory to respond quickly to commands, even with this not replying to this on time will result in an application restart, time where my information got lost were almost countless, but today I thank God for teaching me patience amidst this perilous time.

I remain grateful to the steemians friends who during this moment encouraged me to move on, the likes of bossj23 and some friend who paid tribute to me by singing a song of consolation, my boss miftahulrisky for not giving up on me, I won't fail to appreciate alejos7ven for always believing in me, I won't tag them but I know for sure they will see this post.

Reminiscing The Past

I remember some months ago at exactly past 10 am on the 22nd of June my device was stolen in church. Flashing back to this moment, I thought it was a prank, but nah, it wasn't. In church each time I think of this, I feel like going insane, but I won't because losing makes us strategise and play a different pattern. I got this experience when my life was almost messed up by betting 4 years ago before my salvation.

The church member, after a few weeks of praying and asking for my device, didn't even bother to ask if I had gotten a new one; only very close persons still asked till the day I got a new one. At some point I felt not loved and disappointed, as a student working for years in this assembly didn't make any sense to them. I didn't fail to look into the scripture for comfort. Before time immemorial I have learnt never to put all hope on man; man will fail, but God doesn't. If a door is shut by a man, God can make another way.

At this time, I had the money to purchase a new device and exactly the same with the previous one, but other things were there to settle, bills to pay, and being in the inn group, the class of 2020 who were about to sign up, it was after some week of my device missing that i really felt it, exams was around the corner, using my brother phone was another stress, everything is very sluggish, I thought i had overcome this moment, during this period i was made to know those that valued me, I learnt of the power of communication, I was thought patience, hardwork, consistency (it never easy to be consistent on steemit with a device with low memory), perseverance, I also learnt to use what I have...

This incident took me to places I have never been, to police stations. I saw the limitation of security in Nigeria, I saw cases bigger than mine, I met with criminals, I passed through different routes, I got advice, I controlled my thoughts, I learnt forgiveness and to be security conscious, and I learnt to understand others' feelings in similar situations even though my feelings at this point were different. I learnt to let it go.

Without much ado, today I want to fully tell my friend that the seamless life I lived a few days ago has begun; blogging is stress-free with a better device. Today the struggle has ended. Even though the money I spent so far would have been used to learn a tech skill to contribute to my knowledge in this digital era, I'm quite sure that in a few weeks from now, I will pursue my vision.
