Contest: Handling Accusations and Rumours.

To my own understanding, an accusation is a claim that someone has done something wrong. For instance, if I am being accused of stealing, which can lead to blame and often lead to investigation or conflict, someone might say, "You did this," while a rumor is unverified information or gossip that spreads among people. For instance, when there are rumors that he or she is quitting her job, these rumors may be true or false because such rumors lack confirmation.

These two words involve statements about people or situations, but they differ in meaning, tone, and intent.

Personal I have been wrongly accused, I can still remember in my secondary days when one of us accused me of stealing her pen simple because she saw me with two pen,so these accusations lead to rumors in which everybody was spreading the rumors that I stole someone pen ,even when I was trying to explain to her the pen is mine she refused to listen,she was shouting before the matters reach the principal table I was the top of town ever students talk about me it's was not easy with,I was unable to Walk boldly on school premises, alone the line was when another student who collected her pen,here about the accusations and decided to speak up this really take up to a week before the issues was resolved before this period my name was abused put to shame.I don't wish my enemies this. During this period I was so devastated, unable to eat and attend school normally.

It was not easy for me at that time because no one seemed to believe what I was saying, that I didn't steal her pen. I patiently prayed for my name to be clean from such accusations, and suddenly the girl came up and reported the matter to the principal that she was the one with her pen, not me. Then the principal called all the assembly, and the announcement was made, and she came to tell me sorry.

During these rumors and accusations I personally remained positive, because I knew that I did not steal her pen, and when the matter was resolved I used that opportunity to tell them that I know from my Bible that those who steal will not enter God's kingdom, and I can never take what does not belong to me.

A better way to handle accusations and rumors is to remain positive and be sure you're not the victim here; let your heart bear you witness that you're not the victim, and with prayer and a positive mindset, you will be victorious.
