Passion

Lately I have been listening to many people talk about passion, skills and income. Some say they prefer to do things they don't like as long as it brings them money while others think they should stick to their passion no matter how long it takes for it to produce money.

When the word passion is mentioned what comes to your mind? There are different meaning or definitions of passion. But let me tell you what I think about passion.

Passion is a deep feeling or excitement to do and achieve something. Passion is what you derive joy doing. A task or a problem you can solve or do without been paid and you are happy about it.

Passion is something you can do and sustain for a long while without feeling stressed! Guess what ? Every one born here on earth has a passion, so the question now is have you discovered your passion?

People who are passionate about a thing has an unusual energy or drive or push to keep on going until it is that thing is achieved. .

Doing things without having the passion for it can be frustrating especially when there are loopholes.

If you have not discovered your passion yet then you should pay attention to the following ways to discover your passion.

• Area of your strength

Your strength is the areas of your life you can easily do things. I mean find out the things you do with ease. It could be cooking, writing, painting, jogging, running, sewing, talking. Anything at all you can do very well at any time of the day. Your strength could be a clue to discover your passion.

• Things you love to do

Another way to discover your passion is to check out the things you love to do. What you say down to write down the things you find pleasure doing? For me one of the things I live to do is counselling. I do it with ease. I also love writing. You can also find out what you love too.

• Area of your pain or anger

I know you may not know about this but do you know some of the things you are angry about or feel pain about could be where your passion lies. For example I have seen someone who is always angry and pained when he sees people who can not provide for themselves. I mean the less privilege in the society. The next thing after so much observation and great thoughts, he decided to open an agency for the poor. Today he is doing so well with many other agencies..

Discovering your passion can help in finding out your life's purpose on earth. Many people say they don't know their purpose but discovering purpose can be tied to finding your passion.

Your purpose is the reason why you exist here on earth. Many people do not know why they exist or what to do since they exist on earth. But the easiest way to find out is through your passion. Your passion is your guide.

We were all created with a purpose inside of us, this simply means your final destination. And you get to your final destination through your passion. Passion is like the vehicle to arrive there. The earlier you discover your passion the earlier you get to your purpose.

Instead of spending time doing what you don't love, it best to spend time discovering your passion in life and focus on it.

The successful discovery of passion brings and adds value to your life. Stop doing everything and start focusing on the main things of your life which are your passion and purpose.

Guess what? Money only flows to the direction of those who have succeeded in discovering their passion.
