Hello friends

Having a family is a great gift from God, I hope you agree?

What's the best thing about your family, and why?

I come from an amazing family. Very lively, fun and excited. You just need to meet my siblings, vibe givers.

I have 4 siblings , growing up in my family was a great experience for me I really enjoyed it. My parents on the other hand were always there to provide care and challenge us to become better in our academics.

My Dad came up with a rule back then, he said any one who comes first to 3rd in class would be given one big chicken to eat all alone. You would decide if you want the chicken fried, boiled or used as pepper soup, and it will be done. This was a huge motivation for I and my siblings. Guess what? All through my nursery and primary school, I kept coming first to third in class. I didn't know what other positions look like. Hahaha

Another unique thing about my family was how my mom taught us to learn to care for things. Her style was incredible. She got a local chicken and left it to lay eggs and hash them. After the chicken hashed 5 eggs. My mom assigned each of the chick to us as own responsibility even though they were still very young with their mom.

My mom's actually taught everyone how to pay attention, become intentional and show love with care. Today am so happy for all she did.

My family is unique because we always show up for one another, no envy, no jealousy. We look out for each other all the time. I remember going to fight because my younger brother was beaten. And other times my siblings fought for me.

We always come back home every Christmas to celebrate together no matter where we are in the country. This is a culture my father created in us while we were growing up.

What's a fun memory you have with your family?

I have had a lot of fun memories with my family members. But I would share one with you.

My mom is from a royal family and her elder brother is the king of their village because her Dad is late. My grandma passed away and her burial was fixed. You can imagine how it went seeing that she is the mother of the king.

My cousin's from far and near with my uncles all came back for this event, it was memorable indeed. She lives for 111 years. It was a celebration of life. Till her death she was hard working and an amazing cook. Each time we visited she cook all kinds of meal for us.

That even brought my family together, we played games, watched movies, told stories of childhood, it memory because met siblings and relationship I have never met before.

What's something you've learned from your family?

I have leant several things from my family and one of it is unity, love and forgiveness.

Several times I have seen these three things play out vividly. I see how we offended our parents and how they handled it. I have also seen that true love exist from my parents.

I have never seen my parents fight, or have a serious quarrel. They will always settle whatever issues they have without us knowing it. My parents understands themselves so much, I think they are perfect for each other.

One of my siblings offended me to the point that I felt like hating him because I was really disciplined to the point I felt my Dad was wicked and my mum unfair but now I know better.

What's one thing you'd like to do more of with your family?

I would like to pray more with my family. Coporate prayers works perfectly so well. I witnessed it first hand when my sister was pregnant but the pregnancy was getting complicated.

I remember my mom asking that we all fast and pray for her. My sister has to come home for that three days of the prayers. Each of the day we would lay hands on her tummy and pray fervently for her.

On the last day of the prayers, something dramatic happened. After the prayers, she went home to her husband and immediately she got home, she stated having a strange feeling of vomiting. Guess what? She was lead to get a rubber and vomit inside of it rather than using the restroom.

She obeyed and got a rubber. She started throwing up and what she was vomiting was really strange. It filled a custard rubber. After vomiting she felt so fine and normal. She snapped what she vomited and sent to my parents. That was the end of her pregnancy complications, she gave birth safe and sound.

I would really want to spend time praying with my family, there are just a lot of things to pray for.
