The Diary game (01/09/2025) fixing failed bank app

Hello friends

It's been a long while I shared my day with you all and today I decided to do so after a long time.

You know that moment where you have always had a notion about something or someone and boom all of a sudden you got shocked because you were disappointed that your notion this time was wrong. That's what happened to me today. Let's get to the gist.

I have been using this particular bank since 2015 and all through those times, whenever I have issues with transactions or the bank app and decides to visit the bank, the queue is always something else especially on Mondays and Fridays.

I have this bank app on my Old phone, even after getting a new phone I didn't see the need to transfer the app to the new phone, I kept using the old phone for my transactions or transfers until last week while I was in the salon making my hair, the old phone fell off and the screen smashed and went blank.

I didn't have any choice than to get my bank apps into the new phone. I had an issue with my Access bank app while trying to get it started on my new phone and it was blocked. I was asked to visit the bank. This happened on Friday late in evening so I decided to visit the bank on Monday.

Today been Monday 1st September 2025, I left my house early so that I can be at any possible queue at the bank, but not so early though. I left the house by 10am.

The Access bank branch I went to is located inside university of Lagos. Remember I told you in one of my post that the university of Lagos has numerous facilities like banks and other things.

When I got to the school, I was supposed to take another mini bus to where the bank was located but when I noticed the long queue waiting to enter the bus hmm I decided to go by leg. I walked down to the bank and discovered that the distance from the gate to the bank wasn't so far.

Arriving at the Access bank I took the picture of it's beautiful garden. The Access bank here has a beautiful garden where students come to relax, take pictures, read use the free wifi. I took pictures of myself too at the garden before entering into the bank to do what brought me to the bank.

Entering into the bank I was really surprised at what I saw. There was no queue at all. This is the first of its kind. Never in my history of visit to Access bank did I ever notice that there was no queue not to talk of today been Monday. I was really left speechless. This was what I was talking about In the beginning of this writing.

I have always had that notion that Access bank services are always slow therefore there is always long queues at their banks. There was one time I spent 3 hours on a queue. Terrible right? And today I was thinking I would witness something similar since today is Monday.

Since there was no queue I just found my way to the stand that addresses the issue of apps. I was welcomed and attended by a woman. She was nice and her smile was contagious. I quickly told her the reason I came and within 15 minutes she fixed it. Wow I was impressed for the first time with Access bank. I left joyfully spending less that 30 mins in Access bank can only be a miracle! I wondered what happened today at the bank.

I wanted to visit another bank to fix my ATM card that stop working but I received a call of an appointment I was to have by 1pm so I needed to go home and get ready.

I left the bank and went home happily thanking God for today. Well could it be that Access bank decided to turn a new page on the first of September? Who knows.
