But in this current digital era, apart from Bangladeshi movies, I also watch Tollywood, Dollywood, Hollywood, Bollywood movies. I like watching survival thriller movies more and I watch all these movies mostly. So I will share with you about a survival thriller movie "la palma". This movie is basically a Norwegian disaster movie. This movie is released in 2024.

In this movie, a Norwegian family goes on vacation to the island and survives a volcanic tsunami in a terrible way. Although this movie is fictional, Cumbre Vieja is a true story. Which is the most active volcano on the island of La Palma, where There is a record of eruptions going back 125,000 years. It erupted in 1971 and 1949 as a result of previous eruptions (2021). In this story, a family is separated by a tsunami, then with patience and intelligence, they cope with the natural disaster and win.

Charlie: Charlie is Sarah's girlfriend. She came to this place and made friends with him. They survive together during the tsunami.

Describe the story and setting of the movie.

The story of the movie is that a family from a Norwegian place spends their vacation in La Palma, a place with a volcano and its surrounding nature, which always attracts tourists. Numerous tourists come to visit this island. Scientists here always keep track of the volcano so that if it erupts or a tsunami, they can warn everyone in advance. Scientists understand before the eruption of this volcano turns into a tsunami, but for their tourist convenience, they do not tell anyone.

But a scientist named Marie understands it and tries to get everyone to a safe place. But before that, the tsunami starts. Shortly before the tsunami, Sarah's uncle finds out about the eruption of La Palma volcano. Then he gives the location of a safe place on the phone of everyone in Fredrik's family. Although Fredrik's family is separated at that time for various reasons.

Sarah is on a plane with her girlfriend and Jennifer is in a car with her son. On the other hand, Frederick reaches the location with great difficulty after meeting Marie and using his brother's speedboard. Here, everyone survives in different ways during the volcanic tsunami. That is what is revealed in this story. Then they reunite at a safe place according to the location. While boarding the speedboard, Marie's brother is shot and killed by a group of robbers. At the end of the movie, Marie leaves her scientific career to fulfill her brother's dream and wanders under the sea, and the next day, Frederick's family is happy to be together and goes to their house with their uncle.

If you were the director of the movie, what would you have done differently?

If I were the director of the movie, I would not have tried to do this movie differently. Because the way the tourists survive after a volcanic eruption in a very short time and how they reach a safe place and reunite was truly extraordinary. Because it is really difficult to portray such a beautiful movie story in such a short time. Every character and story from the beginning to the end of the movie has been beautifully portrayed within 45 to 50 minutes.
