Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 103: Tomorrow
What are you most looking forward to tomorrow? |
---|
There are many things I'm looking forward to tomorrow. For the time being I could list a few: a good life, good health and financial stability. These are just a few of the things that I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Life itself as a whole is short-lived, so it's best if one does everything possible, or he can, to live a worthy and meaningful life in good health.
If you could change one thing about tomorrow, what would it be? |
---|
If I could change anything about tomorrow, it would be changing the ability to become old. Honestly, old age is not something I feel good at. This does not mean that I hate old people, no, but instead it means I hate the ability to become old. I still worry about my own self, how I'll look many years from now. So yes, old age is something I would quickly want to change. Something else I would love to change about tomorrow is the impact of global warming on the environment, or the earth as a whole.
If we get to look at it, the environment was way more pure in the A.D. than it is in this 21st century. Back then, the ozone layer was safe, and there wasn't pollution as there is now. Pollution is so rampant now that there isn't any way to turn to see a safe space. The smoke (fumes) from generators, automobiles, the burning of chemicals and products and the rest have ruined the environment for humankind.
How about the soil? It is not as fertile as it used to be back then. Then, it was easier to have better yields from farm products, such as fruits, vegetables and other crops. Now it is different; fertilisers are now used in place of manure to increase the yield of crops. And these fertilisers, sadly, have a bad effect on humans as well as animals. The chemical products it is composed of have a drastic effect on the human body, and for this, it is said to be harmful. So yes, this is another problem I would love to change about tomorrow. Tomorrow is uncertain, yes, but what about humanity? How would we survive if we keep going on this terrain?
This is something of big interest. Well, in my own knowledge and understanding, tomorrow cannot be better than today. But these are things I can do to make or ensure a better future. The first thing one can do to set goals: To make tomorrow a little better than today, consider these actionable steps:
Set a specific goal: I need to identify one thing I want to improve or achieve tomorrow, such as completing a task, learning something new, or helping someone.
Create a plan: Break down your goal into smaller, manageable steps, and outline what you need to do to achieve it.
Resilience can also trigger this in a good aspect.
And so many other things to do to ensure a better tomorrow. One thing I want to learn is tailoring; in other words, fashion designing, as it is called. Another thing I want to learn is to make shoes too because they are too expensive.
These are practical things I can learn tomorrow. But in terms of self-improvement, I want to learn how to speak the British accent too. It has been my set goal for a while now, and I'm looking for even the minimum effort to learn this. This is my idea about tomorrow, what it holds and what I can do to help shape it.
