in Steem4Nigeria2 days ago

Hello friends and fellow movie explorers,

As we near to the closing week of this beautiful Movie Snapshot challenge, my inside is filled. Each week has been a trip through stories, feelings, places, and time. But this week — Week 6 Your Life on Screen — feels different. It feels particular, intimate, and truly reflective.

After going through a long list of pictures I’ve loved and related to, I eventually chose the bone
that always brings gashes to my eyes and strength to my soul “ Lion ”( 2016).

🎬 Why" Lion" Feels Like My Story

“ Lion ” tells the unimaginable real narrative of Saroo Brierley, a five- year-aged boy who gets sundered from his blood in India, is espoused by an Australian couple, and sets out decades latterly to find his true mama utilizing Google Earth. The film is further than just a reunion narrative it’s about identicalness, belonging, adaptability, and the unbreakable fiber of love.

Although I was n’t espoused or lost as a child, I do know the feeling of being lost — lost in life, doubtful of who I was or where I belonged. There were times when I questioned my path, my purpose, and felt like a foreigner indeed in familiar places. Watching Saroo’s trip gave me hope — that indeed when life divergences, we can still find our way home.

Five Lessons from" Lion" That Motivate Me

1. You Can Be Strong and Still Feel Lost

Saroo did n’t give up searching, indeed when the odds were insolvable. This reminded me that indeed when we do n’t have answers, continuity matters.

2. passion is Not Bound by Blood

The bond between Saroo and his consanguineous parents shows that love can be set up and given in unanticipated ways. I’ve had people in my life, not related by blood, who came my true support.

3. Don’t Ignore the Call Within You

Saroo strained to shift onward, but the hankering to determine his sources nowise quit him. Sometimes our dreams and interrogatives are n't discombobulations they're directions.

4. Technology Can Heal When Used With Heart

It astonished me how Saroo applied Google Earth to delineate his townlet from remembrance. It reminded me that ultramodern utensils, when ushered by pretension, can produce cautions.

5. Closure is a important Gift

When Saroo eventually finds his mama after 25 times, it’s an emotional check that I deeply relate to. There are effects I’m still searching for — but this scene gave me hope that mending comes, indeed if it takes time.

Favorite Character Kamla( Saroo’s Birth Mother)

While Saroo’s novella drives the intrigue, Kamla, his geniture mammy, gained my blood. Her secret potence, perennial substitute, and piety despite impecuniosity and loss convinced me to lacerations. She reminded me of numerous maters I feel specifically my own — who give everything and hold on patiently for their children to replace.

Two Movies That Inspired Me This Year

1. The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

Grounded on a real- life boy in Malawi who erected a windmill to save his vill. It inspired me to keep learning and noway underrate small ideas.

2. Soul( Pixar)

A deeply touching animated film that made me reflect on how life isn't just about purpose or success, but about truly living each moment.

Final Words

“ Lion ” reminded me that home is n’t always a place — occasionally it’s a feeling, a memory, or indeed a dream we carry in our hearts. This challenge allowed me to reconnect with that dream.

To anyone out there still chancing their way

“ I’m not misplaced. I’m precisely holding the scenic path. ”

Thank you for this wonderful challenge. It’s not just about pictures it’s about people, pain, growth, and connection.

I invite @saniya @rmj and @josepha– this is the week to write from your heart. I can’t stay to read your story.

Best Regards,
