Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 105: Things I Can't Do For Love

Hello steemians and fellow members of steem4nigeria community. Greetings to everyone. I'm here to share my
views on this topic for this week. I want to thank @steem4nigeria for organizing this contest. this will give me the opportunity to express all that was kept inside of me patterning to this topic. I love this topic. it's very interesting. I just hope you enjoy reading my contribution.

What do you understand by the word Love?

The word Love is ambiguous. However, in this context the organizer of this contest is referring to an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person. I can detect that from the intro of this contest.
I my understanding, Love can be simplified with the word care. We care for what we love. So love in other words can be defined as a profound and caring attraction towards someone.

Have you ever loved anybody, if yes why?

I don't think there's anyone who doesn't love someone. In my case I have this crush that I have fallen head and heel for. This might not be realistic to you but it is to me. Even if I explain the situation from my point of view it will still sound strange to you.
I can remember falling in love with a girl that didn't love my back. It was tough, I had to get out of my comfort zone just to please her. Well I don't blame myself because I was young and naive.
As a boy I loved her because she was beautiful. I literally overlooked her character and concentrated on her outward appearance not minding how she treats me. When I grew up I learnt that beauty is vanity.

What are the lines you will never cross for the sake of love?

When some people fall in love they act like they're suffering from schizophrenia. They stop thinking logically and allow their emotions becloud them.

• I will never displease myself just to prove a point. regardless of the person I can't prioritize anyone over myself. You can call that selfish.

• I can't be pressured into doing things that will damage my mental health in the name of love.

• I won't do something I can't do for myself for another person just to appear as a good person. People take advantage of people's kindness these days and possibly forget what you literally did for them.

• I will never overlook insults and disrespect. Those who tolerate nonsense from people they love are afraid to air out how they feel because of scarcity mindset.

• I won't entertain unhealthy competitions. After all we have different dreams and passion.

• I can't carelessly fight for anyone who creates trouble for themselves. You have to face your demons by yourself. However, this doesn't insinuate that I can't sacrifice for the person I love.

• I can't compromise my values and integrity for someone I love.
  I will tell you all my values, so you can choose to stay or leave

How best do you think love for others can be expressed without hurting other people's feelings.

It's by creating boundaries and making conditions. We can love people without hurting them or ourselves by being realistic. Delusional love has wounded a lot of people. Whenever you're in love with someone make sure you open a deep conversation with them concerning their weakness and strength. Doing this will help you decide if you can keep them or not. In conclusion, don't let let your sense of judgement fade away just because of the butterflies in your stomach.
