My Neighborhood Watch #118 - Reporting Events Around us
Hello Everyone |
---|
How's everything going? I have something to talk about that's related to my neighborhood and it is a situation that has to do with my elder brother and his coursemates some days ago. They were preparing to write their final exam and while doing that in the last week as students of the University of Portharcourt, they were always coming to school with different outfits a day.
In this post I will be talking about the Ankara outfit All the guys in the department wore black as that was what they agreed to wear that day. I don't really know what the girls wore as I haven't seen any pictures of them it was when they wore jerseys I was able to see the pictures of some of them and I will post it another time.
My elder brother Francis wasn't left out, he wore sn outstanding outfit that day and he took pictures with different guys in his department. They were all excited that their days as an undergraduate is finally coming to an end as the journey so far wasn't an easy one for them at all. Especially during their first year in the university which has been one of the most stressful year for undergraduates as they haven't gotten used to the school environment as at that time.
Francis s the only one wearing a dark eyeglass incase you don't know my brother yet. He is a very brilliant student and before I forget, he was studying MICROBIOLOGY in the university. I had to use "was" because he's successfully done as he signed out yesterday and is something I will surely talk about another time.
Alot of students signed out in the University of Portharcourt this week and some are also going to sign out today. I'm happy for them and I know that very soon I will be a graduate too. I did saw alot of students in each department putting on unique outfits on their department Ankara day. Each department wore the same kind of material and I really admired them.
This is something that's very common here in Nigeria as it has been n existence for long and it will keep on existing for some more years in different universities. I'm just excited that my elder brother is finally a graduate and he's the first graduate of my parents. My sister will be the next in 2026, I'm sure of that and I know she will very excited just like the way everyone gets excited after writing their final exam as an undergraduate.

Es muy lindo apostarle a la formación académica, pues eso significa que la humanidad crecerá siempre intelectualmente. Me encantó leerte. Un abrazo.
Thanks for the comment ma.
Thank you boss.
