Domesticated animals are the animals that live among the human environment, allowing us to rear them as livestock. Goats are common domesticated animals found worldwide. Goats have existed for thousands of years, and farmers mostly use them for milk, skin, and meat. Research shows that India has the highest number of goats used as livestock, as well as companions, due to the relationship they have with goats.

Goat rearing is a lucrative agribusiness that someone can venture into because there are people in my country who are engaged in the goat business, where they make money to survive. There are different types of goats around the world, such as Nigerian Dwarf, Boer, Barbari, Sahel, Angora, and more. All these goats are useful to us, especially for meat purposes.

The following ways outline the uses of goats in our various countries:

➡️ Goat meat serves as a source of income for the farmers who invest their resources, time, and monitoring to ensure its production.

➡️ Their skin is used for leather products such as leather bags and palm products that we can wear for different occasions.

➡️ Goat's milk can also be used for cheese, yogurt, and soap that are used by a group of people to improve their skin.

➡️ They also help us to clear our land by eating weeds that surrounding us. Doing this will protect us from dangerous animals that hide under the grass, and that will help us to see our surroundings clearly.

➡️ Goats are used as pets by some people because they are seen as friendly animals that create a bond with their owners. Doing this will increase their popularity.
