Animal Activities #39

in Steem-Agro6 days ago

Assalamu Alaikum Hello friends, how are you all, I hope everyone is well and today I want to share a story about a cow for a beautiful competition that is going on in the Steem-Agro community and in our rural Bengali life, a cow is not just an animal but an indispensable companion for livelihood and in this story I want to highlight the extraordinary aspects of the life of an ordinary cow such as its affection, struggle and its contribution to our lives. So friends, let's read the story. On the edge of the field in the western part of our village, there was a farmer's family house and the most valuable asset of the family was their beloved cow named Golapi. The farmer's little daughter named it because the cow had light reddish spots on some parts of its body which looked like a rose flower from a distance and Golapi was calm and gentle, as if there was always compassion in its eyes and every morning before the sun rose, it would come out of the cowshed and the farmer would feed it with his own hands.

And Golap had a strange characteristic and she never shouted much and kept quiet and to herself. However, when the farmer's son went to school, he would stand next to him and nod his head as if to ask for blessings. The villagers said that cows probably understand people's minds and Golap really proved it. In fact, one day when the farmer's son fell ill, the cow stopped eating and everyone was surprised. Until the boy came out of the house with a smile again, Golap did not eat anything. After this incident, the villagers started loving the cow even more. Golap's contribution was invaluable and the farmer's family would sell her milk in the market and run their household with that money. Not only that, the farmer would often help the poor people of the village by giving milk without paying anything. Golap was like that kind companion and the farmer would say that this cow is the gift of my forehead, the mercy of Allah.

But life has its joys and sorrows, and during one rainy season, there was a severe flood and many houses in the village were submerged in water and the farmer's house was also under threat and everyone was running to save their lives. Just then, it was seen that Golap was stuck in the mud and the farmer and his son tried their best to pull her out but the water kept rising and at that moment Golap jumped up with his last strength and floated on the farmer's lap and saved his life. The villagers still remember that struggle of that day and the bond of love between humans and animals brings tears to their eyes. Time passed and the farmer's daughter grew up and the son also joined the work and Golap was old and her once bright eyes became a little tired. Still, she spent her days with the love of everyone in the family. One morning, it was seen that Golap had not woken up and had gone to sleep peacefully in the corner of the cowshed and tears came to the farmer's eyes but he said that Golap was not just an animal, she was a part of our family.

The whole village buried her under a big banyan tree and next to that tree, small children still play and adults sit and talk and every time someone mentions Golapi, a strange silence falls because everyone knows that even though she was a cow, her love and contribution were as valuable as a human being and the story is not just about a cow but also about the fruits of our lives. We often neglect animals and birds but we do not understand how important they are in our lives and a cow like Golapi teaches us that love, responsibility and sacrifice have no limits and whether it is a human or an animal, the language of feelings is always the same. Friends, this was the story of Golapi. I hope you also understand that animals in our lives are not just economic assets, they are silent companions of our happiness and sorrow and if we take care of them, they also return such love to us that it may not be possible to express in words.

Anyway, I have invited some of my friends here to participate in this competition. I hope they will share their opinions here and participate. @anasuleidy @petrarodriguez @ikwal @vishwara @yadira03
