Greetings my fellow steemians! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. I am happy to write this article today on the subtopic "Agriculture through Arts". I chose to draw a Cow, and here are my details.

A cow is the adult female cattle. Cows are herbivorous animals and are also known as ruminant animals because they have four stomach chambers which aid in the digestion of all kinds of plants they eat. We have different species of cows and all these species are unique.

Fact about cows

• Cows have a strong sense of smell
• Hows have special means of communication aside from the moo sound they produce.
• Cows can cover more than 13km in a day while grazing.
• Like human beings, cows hold a Pregnancy for nine months before giving birth.
• A cow can live for up to 25 years.
• Only cows with a calf (baby) produced milk.

Benefit of cow to man
The benefits of cows to humans are numerous and below are a few:

• Cows are a source of income to man
• Cow dung is manure.
• They can control weeds through grazing.
• Cow skin can be processed to produce bags, shoes etc.
• It is a source of food for man (milk and meat).
• They are beneficial in pulling carts and farming tools.

Material For Drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

step 1
I sketched the head of the cow. I began with the forehead followed by the muzzle, the mouth, the horn and the eye. I also drew the ear and the nostril.

Step 2
I threw the neck, the back, the thigh, the hook and the heel of one of the hind legs. I also drew the tail of the cow.

Step 3
I drew the fore udder, the teat and the stomach and the second hind leg of the cow.

Step 4
I drew the two forelegs and the shoulder of the cow.

Step 5
Here, I shaded the head of the cow. I began with the eye and then the nostril. I shaded the entire head and the two horns of the cow.

I shaded the body of the cow including one of the hind legs.

Step 7
I shaded the forelegs and the shoulder of the cow.

Step 8
I shaded the tail, the fore udder, the teat and the second hind legs which brought me to the end of the drawing.
