INTRODUCTION

Greetings to all great agriculturists of this group, happy new month to you all, I'm @destinedhanik from Nigeria and today, I'll be talking about mechanized farming. As we all know, farming has been made easier and more enjoyable. I believe you will learn one or two things from me today.

Meaning of Mechanized farming

Mechanized farming is the use of advanced equipment like bulldozer, trencher, irrigation systems, harvesters, tractors, etc to perform difficult or tasking farm work.

In the olden days, traditional methods and tools like hoe, matcher, shovels, watering cans were used for farming which took a lot of time and effort but mechanized farming has made farming easier and more enjoyable. When mechanized farming is applied in a farm, planting, harvesting and processing of crops becomes more efficient.
