The advancement in technology has significantly transformed the art of farming leading the farming world to the stage that is more efficient, more effective, and eco-friendly. Among the most interesting things that they have resorted to is using the modern machines, the drone technology and the modern farming machines.

There are GPS-guided tractors, automated irrigations and sensors that reveal to farmers how good the soil and crops are, in real-time. This helps it cut wastage of resources such water and fertilisers and increase production. Similarly, drones and satellite imaging also have the potential to identify pest, diseases, and nutritional deficiencies at their onset so that farmers can take action in time.

Digital platforms have also now brought in the gap between farmers and markets. Mobile applications can now give the weather forecast, farming tips and direct the sellers to the buyers to ensure that they get better prices on the produce sold. Genetically enhanced seeds and crop varieties have through biotechnology enhanced the resilience of crops to climate change and other random weather systems.

On the one hand, agriculture is becoming an opportunity in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Blockchain will also guarantee transparency within the supply chain because all of the steps in food production can be tracked and verified. This increases confidence of the farmers, suppliers and consumers by removing fraud and genuine products. Blockchain can also perform the same task, but through smart contracts, by automating the transaction of money between farmers and buyers so that they receive the payment in time without using an intermediary.

Financial inclusion is also the role played by cryptocurrency among farmers in the rural areas that might not be at par to access the traditional financial system. On digital wallets, they can get immediate payments, trade in other parts of the world, utilize decentralized financial services like loans to purchase seeds and machinery. This limits the reliance on the local financial proposals that the lenders are usually taking unfair advantage of the farmers by applying high rates on them.

In conclusion, it is worth saying that technology and crypto are changing the domain of agriculture into something more transparent, efficient, and profitable. Not only do they make food security better but they also empower farmers by providing additional tools and financial solutions to them so that in the long-run they can be sustainable since they have additional tools.
