Define Mechanized Farming in your own Words.

The application of modern machines and use of highly advanced tools in agricultural practice to substitute or minimize human and animal labor is called mechanized farming. Farmers cannot use hand tools or manual labor to do their work, but with the help of tractors, harvesters, plows, irrigation systems, and other special equipment, they can perform planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing.

This will make the work more productive, time-saving, less physical load, and will make it possible to conduct farming on a larger scale. Mechanized agriculture is also more efficient and increases the yield of crops since machines could work more effectively and faster than human beings. Although it is very expensive to invest in and maintain, it has a significant contribution in agriculture today, as it provides food security to agricultural activities and contributes to large scale commercial farming.

Mechanized farming is very significant as it makes agriculture more efficient and productive. Farmers can now produce more food by using machines like tractor, planters, and harvesters to produce more food in a shorter time. It decreases the need to hire manual labor, decreases the amount of toil, and accelerates agricultural activities. Mechanization also increases precision in planting, irrigation and harvesting, which increases the quality of crops and decreases losses after harvest.

In addition, it promotes commercial agriculture and thus agriculture is more viable and sustainable. Mechanized agriculture plays an important role in the developing regions in fulfilling the increasing demand of food and maintaining food security. All in all, it facilitates economic development, rural development and modernization of agricultural activities.

Discuss on the Advantages and Disadvantages of Mechanized Farming.

There are pros and cons to mechanized farming. The first benefit is that it is much more productive, because machines help farmers to create bigger fields faster and more effectively. It minimizes the amount of physical work, increases precision in planting and harvesting, and provides increased yields of superior quality crops. Mechanization is also endorsing commercial agriculture and contributes to satisfying the increasing food needs. It also has downsides, however.

Machines are expensive to buy and maintain and therefore not affordable to small scale farmers. It can also lead to a decrease in the working positions of manual workers and result in unemployment in the rural areas.

Yes truth is the mechanized farming is actually more than what those small farmer's can afford and it also promote unemployment within farming field while increasing crops quality and do decrease lose indeed.
