Steem-Agro Drawing Contest 29: Agriculture Through Art

Greetings everyone,

I hope you are all well. I am also well. I am participating in the wonderful competition organized by @ahsansharif today. We have been given the opportunity to draw any plant or tree we want. I decided to draw a jackfruit tree. Thank you @ahsansharif for organizing this competition.

This is the final result of my painting. I took all the photos with my phone.

🎨🖌️MY DRAWING MATERIAL:-

• White paper

• HB pencil

• Colour pencils

• Eraser

• sharpener

• Colour pen

STEP 1:-

I first drew the trunk of the jackfruit tree on white paper.

STEP 2:-

Then I drew the branches of the tree and three large roots that appear on the ground.

STEP 3:-

I also drew some jackfruit and some fallen jackfruit leaves. I also drew some trees visible behind the jackfruit tree.

STEP 4:-

The entire image was redrawn with colored pen.

STEP 5:-

I used green colors to color the leaves of the tree, brown colors to color the trunk of the tree, and yellow and green colors to color the jackfruit.

STEP 6:-

I colored the ground yellow. I colored the trees in the distance using green. After coloring the entire image, I wrote my username on it.

The final form of the jackfruit tree I drew is shown in the image above.

Jackfruit is a very popular food in Sri Lanka. The jackfruit tree grows well in every part of Sri Lanka. The fruit of this plant is currently the largest fruit in the world. Jackfruit wood is also a valuable wood used for making furniture. The cutting of jackfruit trees is restricted by law in Sri Lanka. The value of this plant is due to this. Jackfruit leaves are used as medicine for patients with diabetes. Jackfruit can be consumed in different ways at different stages of growth. Each stage is endowed with different nutritional qualities. The milk of the jackfruit tree is also used in Ayurvedic remedies. Jackfruit can be used as the best alternative to rice. Therefore, the jackfruit tree has the nickname "rice tree". It can also be eaten as a fruit after ripening. Jackfruit is the best answer to the food crisis. It is very beneficial for pregnant and lactating mothers.
