In my country, Pakistan the evolution of the practice of the agriculture is such a fascination journey through the time which reflects the history of the country and its adaptation to the challenges of the environment and the economic challenges.

The Indus civilization, growing around 3300 to 1300 BCE, deposit the foundation for the agriculture in that region. They cultured the crops such as wheat, cotton and developed the worldly irrigation system, which includes the canals and the wells.This early

This early advancement demonstrated an understanding of the rotation of the crops and what's the importance of the management of the water which were important for their success of the agriculture sector.Following the decrease of the Indus valley civilization, the agriculture practices developed through the different empires.The initiation of the new crops, like rice and sugarcane enlarged the landscapes of the agriculture.

Particularly the Empires regulate the practices of the agriculture by the investment in the infrastructures such as the canals which are helpful to facilitate the crops irrigation and the thus increasing the yields of the crops.

In the late 19th century and in the beginning of the twentieth century the British period conducted the significant changes by introducing the construction of large network of the canals. This extended the output of the agriculture and it also increased the issues of waterlogging.

After the independence, my Pakistan has experienced the problems of feeding a large number of the population and growing its economy.The Green Revolution in the years of 1060s and 1970s introduced a outstanding modifications.High yield of the crops such as the wheat and rice, along with it , the utilisation of the fertilizers and poisons.

One of the major challenge is the water scarcity, aggravated by the Changes in the climate and improper irrigation practices.	Specific adaptions to the changes in the climate is very important to make the crop yields high.
The excessive utilisation of the ground water can cause its depletion.	It is very important to encourage the drought resistant and flood tolerant varieties, implications of the climate smart practices of the agriculture.
Another important problem is the impact of the changes in the climate.	Investment in the technologies which are the water efficient can be effective to conserve the resources of the water.
Unpredictable patterns of the weather such as the floods and the droughts damaged the livestocks and the crops.	Improvement in the regulation of the existing canal systems through the maintenance and restoration.
Increase in the temperature and changes in the patterns of the rainfall also affect the crops and validity of the lands for the particular crops.	It is very important to provide the access to the farmers about the modern technologies of the modern practices of the agriculture.
The sector of the agriculture is also inhibited by lack of access to the modern technology and information about the modern agricultural practices.	Enhancing the adoption of the agriculture practices like organic farming practices and pest management can helpful to improve the sector of the agriculture.
