The cutting of the forests is called as the deforestation. The main effect of deforestation is the change in the climate.The cutting of the trees causes pollution because the trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.

The cutting of the forests also causes loss for the biodiversity because the trees in the forests are the habitat for many of the species.The loss of the habitat for many of the creatures disturb the natural ecosystems and make the species endangered.

The soil degradation is also due to the over cutting of the forests.The soil degradation occurs when the excessive cutting occurs because the roots of the trees hold the soil in place.

There is a multitude of dangers poses by the deforestation which impact the environment and the human society both.

The climate change is the major danger caused by the deforestation. The trees have the abilities to absorb the carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. But if there is the cutting of the trees, the carbon dioxide intensifying the green house effect, and it can lead to global warming.

The forests are the habitat of the biodiversity such as many tiny plants and animals. The cutting of the forests destroying the habitats of the biodiversity which is a major contribution to the decline in the species population.The decline in the biodiversity can cause disruption in the natural ecosystems and can be a reason to weaken their ability for the functioning.

In some regions, the cutting of the forests can be a reason of the desertification it turns the land which is fertile into the desert lands.

How can deforestation be Reduced

Only specific trees cutting should be encouraged instead of cutting the entire areas. In this way the structure of the forests remains intact and in this way this can allow the trees to regenerate.This is very important to regenerate the trees which have been logged in those areas.

The integration of the trees into the system of the farming is also very helpful. This is helpful to improve fertility of the soil and also provide the shade.
