Fellow steemians,
It is a privilege to join the contest this week and I will be giving a brief discussion on my activity today; specifically my agricultural activity today.

The activity took place in two phases; which includes drying and grinding. I decided on making a few flours today with the food crops I got from farming.

First phase

Today, under the sun, I put out the yam peels which I've been drying for the past few weeks again. I need to get the very dry without the presence of any moisture. I carefully spread them out where it won't be accessible, touched and feasted upon by lizards or any other rodent.
The peels have been earlier washed and soaked for days before being spread out.

I do the same for my dried cassavas. These ones have also been formerly, soaked, mashed, drained and dried. But they need to get drier.

But for my dried corn grains today, which I planned to powder, I slightly roasted them under low heat with a bit of salt till they are a bit brown. I don't sundry them, but they are placed in a container with no moisture.

For my other foods undergoing sun-drying, I constantly check on them, turning them over once in awhile as always.

Second phase.

By evening time, I put the dried yam peels and cassava into separate and dry containers after ensuring it is free from any dirt.
I made my way to the processing house where there is a milling machine to have the three products grinded into smooth flours

Though this people know and does their job well, I take my time in monitoring them and making sure they well grinded to my taste of preference.
The peels, cassava and corn grains were well grinded to give me smooth powder. And I have a yam flour, cassava flour and corn flour., which would be prepared later in the kitchen to make different meals.
I made sure they were not immediately covered to prevent production of any mould in the flour.
