I am from a middle class family of six inclusive of my parents, I have three younger siblings (2 sisters and a brother). My parents are young and vibrant, family is gold. Meet my family members in details:

Mr Ime Sylvanus is a dark complexioned human being with a heart of gold, my parent got their first child (me) at a young age. My father Is a commercial transporter who moves people and goods from one place to another in exchange for money,he also has a house and shops that he rents out annually. He is the breadwinner of the family,my dad is an introvert hence, he is always calm and quiet and believes that "actions speaks louder than words".I must confess that amongst my parents, it is my Dad I love most.

My mother is another species of human being, she is light-skinned, average height,an extrovert (the children decided to take after her in this aspect),her name is Ukpeme which means God's guidance in English, she is the last born of her family. She is a good cook and a disciplinarian. This her disciplinarian lifestyle is what has shaped my life as she can use anything within her reach(rod, wooden laddle, shoe heel) to reset your brain. I remember when I was sent on an errand to deliver something to a neighbor, I got distracted by my friends and misplaced the item, I was beaten black and blue, since then I have remained focused, I never get distracted easily until I achieve my goal. My mother is an FBI, she can investigate in Nigeria. Mrs Sylvanus is a trained nurse and has a shop(managed by someone) at üsê offot along nwaniba road, uyo. She is very outspoken that I sometimes wonder if she never gets tired of talking. She lives an exemplary life for her children to imitate.

I will like my fellow steemians to meet my younger sister, she is the second child of the family. She is 11years of age and in J.S.S 2. Her name is Jah'smight(jassy for short) which means God's Power. She is dark complexioned,she got my dad's skin color. She is my closest family member that is why I love her so much, she knows most deep things about me that others do not know and she is always very free with me. Although we quarrel/argue sometimes, we always blend and get back together as soon as possible. I call jassy: my love, my strawberry, my bestie, close paddy, my armor and the list continues.

My third sister is a nine year old girl about to write her common entrance examination, she is very fair and beautiful which earns her the nickname "yellow paw-paw". She has a deep voice, she goes by the name Hope. Hope is a very authoritative human being, she does not do things to please others not even her parent. No one can ever make her succumb, this my sister is a food freak and has a big navel so we are fond of saying that all the food she consumes goes to her navel instead tummy. She can be very dramatic as well, try tasting her food, she will fall on the floor and roll from our house to the t-junction so nobody dares provoke her. But despite this, she does not escape mom's discipline. My sister also has very lovely qualities for instance she has passion for music. At the mention of Hope, my heart skips. I love her for her stubbornness.

Oliver is the first and only son of my family. He is the lastborn, 7 years old and in basic 1, he is also fair skinned in complexion. My brother sometimes proves to be stubborn because he is daddy's pet. He does not dare do that when dad is not around because he knows what we are capable of doing. No one dares to toil with him, he is all the Sylvanus' family has got.

I am sorry I have got no pictures of them but trust me, I adore these souls with everything in me.They love their grandchildren so much, I value them to the moon, may God sustain them for me because I owe them a whole lot.

I must confess that my close paddy (jassy) is the funniest member of the family. She can make us shine our 36 set of teeth all day long. This one she is planning to go spend the weekend in our aunt's place, my dear steemians please help me beg her to stay back.

Of course, all members of my family has been very helpful to each other. But there is this particular occasion I will never forget in a hurry. I was so broke and had not even a dime to pay my way to/fro school for the week. My immediate younger sister who had been saving her pocket money gave me all she had saved to enable me go to work at the expense of getting herself a new shoe . Until now, I have not been able to pay her back.

My family is virtuous, the Sylvanus' family got rules and principles. Family is gold, I pray the ties we share never gets broken.

My family, my pride. I promise to fight for my family until my very last breath.
