Hello friends I hope you are great, today I am here to share my about the Faisal mosque largest mosque for prayers.

The Faisal Mosque is national mosque it's located in heart of capital city Islamabad. It's the 6th largest mosque of the World ;The proposal for construction was offered by Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia. It's design was won by Turkish architect Vedat Dalokay's design.

The construction was completed in ten years starting from 1976 to 1986 and supported by Saudi government by the worth of about $120 million. The king Faisal bin Abdul-Aziz supported the funding and that's why mosque named Faisal.

It's the front of the building, while the mosque had contemporary design and had shaped like a Bedouin tent, hence it had eight-sided which looked like a shell-shap moreover the form of sloping roof give an appearance of triangular hall for prayer.

Hence the Faisal mosque had honoured it's design by the inspiration of Holy Kaaba in Mecca because it consists of four minarets which has resemblance four corners of the Holy Kaaba.

The grand Faisal mosque had four minarets and the height of each minarets is 79 meters tall based on inspiration from Turkish architecture, the ideal location of mosque in the Margalla Hills making is highly attractive place for tourists.

If we see the interior of mosque had white marble so neat and beautiful mosaic it had beautiful calligraphy by Pakistan artists Sadequain.

The mosque has large space for prayer at a time 300,000 people can offer prayers, while the main hall is spacious having space for 74,000 people and the ground has capacity of 200,000 people at a time.

The Faisal mosque is the famous tourist point thousands of people come to see the architect and beauty of Faisal mosque many foreigners are there all the time whenever I visited this place.

I visited it many times once I went for my cousin nikah ceremony which was in Faisal mosque main hall (ladies hall) , neat and highly attractive place.

The overall environment was safe and cleanliness all there thousands workers were there to clean every inch of mosque all the time. Even toilets were so neat I couldn't imagine it.

No fear for theft shoes were there with ticket of I think 20 rupees but may b kept free too, the lawn were clean and green.

The library was there where precious books were present and presented a history I couldn't capture the inside hall of me due to prayer.

The burial website Zia-ul-Haq is there I offered Fateh for him thousands people were visiting his burial.

It's open 24 Hours with free parking facilities no restrictions for any religions open for all people and there is no entry fee.

Moreover, it's renovated with budget of 200 million PKR to maintain the maintenance and beauty of Faisal mosque.
