Start with a bright School for a brighter future
Hello dear steemians, it is my pleasure to share with you all a place I visit almost everyday of the week. It is an educational institution and that is Rayfield international nursery and primary schools. It is located at Number 17 Nsikak Edouk Avenue Uyo, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.
The school is both boys and girls. The colour of their school uniform is maroon and milky.
I like the school because they have well trained teachers.
Aside from their teachers being trained, they are friendly and caring to the learners under their care.
They have a clean and serene environment. Aside from maintaining high standard hygiene, they have a secure space for their learners to learn and play.
The school have well equipped library and laboratory for their learners.
There is a computer laboratory, music studio and creative art studio all for the young minds to learn.
The last floor of this particular building is the their library and looking downstairs you will see the administrative office.
They have many offices elsewhere apart from this particular building.
It is the most populated nursery and primary school in my state because of their excellent in teaching and otherwise.
Recently the school won a national award for their creativity and many more awards which you will find out from the school website in the last table below.
Looking at the picture above you will see these two girls drawing.
It was a live drawing they performed at the Akwa Ibom state art and cultural exhibition day which other schools also compete but the school came first in all the art exhibition.
Let take a walk to their classroom and in this post I will show you just two of their many classes.
This is a veranda leading to one of the classroom. You can see that no child is seen loitering around, they are all indoors learning.
When I got into one of the classroom, I met one of their classroom teachers since there are two teachers pay classroom.
One of them was out with some learners taking them to the restroom 🚻.
Taking selfies with the kids who didn't join others in the restroom.
I took a picture of alphabet tree on the wall.
I took a selfie with one of their classroom teachers. This is nursery one Epiphallium and one of my daughters is in this class. She is the one with yellow cardigan.
Going down to the next class I stopped by the school information board and noticed that they have already pasted fees to be paid for books in the 2025/2026 academic sessions.
I discovered that my younger child will have to pay 37,500 naira only for books that is about 197steem and my older daughter will pay 48,000 naira only for books that is about 252 steem for books only.
Their school fees is 70,0000 seventy thousand naira only and for my two children I will be paying 140,000 one hundred and forty thousand naira only. That is 736 steem for their school fees.
Lastly I checked for the school bus 🚌 fare and that it still remains 80,000 eighty thousand naira only, and for the two of them it will be 160, 000 one hundred and sixty thousand naira only which is equivalent to 842 steem.
So by August I was made to understand that for the two children I have in the school, I will have to pay for the following:
Fees summary for my two children
Items | Price in Naira | Price in steem |
---|---|---|
Books | 85,000 | 447 |
School fees | 140,000 | 736 |
Bus services | 160,000 | 842 |
Total | 387,000 | 2,036 |
That is their fees for first term in the next academic sessions when added using my two children in the school. Fees for the other terms will be pasted at the end of the first term.
Others with more children will pay more than that and some who do not use their bus services will pay lesser than that. So it depends othe the number of children one have in the school.
Because of their population, the school uses two gate to assess the school.
One at the back and one at front.
Front the front gate, I captures this one.
