Some tourist destinations can be difficult to choose because they are all so perfect, with their diverse uniqueness and beautiful scenery. It's also difficult for tourists to decide which location to visit: the ocean or the mountains. However, if you want to enjoy both, you can visit this place, which is connected to your desires.

I've been here, between the two (mountains and ocean), and both are fused with extraordinary charm. With just one trip, you can find the desired location to enjoy both. And of course, many people will make this choice to enjoy all the natural beauty of both.

Located on Mount Geurutee in Lamno District, Aceh Jaya Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia, this location is the perfect choice for those who agree with this choice. It offers a mountainous atmosphere and offers stunning beaches along the Indian Ocean.

If you're in a different province or perhaps have difficulty finding this place, you can reach the summit of Mount Geurutee in Aceh Jaya from Banda Aceh, the provincial capital. The location can be reached by both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, taking just over an hour from the capital. The national road also connects Banda Aceh City with several regencies in the vast western part of Aceh.

The road to Geurutee Peak from Lhoknga, Aceh Besar, offers beautiful views, making the journey to the summit of Geurutee a memorable one. Along the way from Banda Aceh to the summit of Geurutee, views and the beauty of pristine beaches with blue seawater make the journey feel effortless. On the left, rows of Barisan hills, including some familiar mountains like Mount Kulu and Mount Paro, offer a green atmosphere and clean, fresh air.

The journey of about half an hour will involve a winding mountain road that follows the mountain's edge. The road is not very wide and can only accommodate two cars in the mountains. Motorcyclists and car drivers must be extremely careful when navigating the road on Mount Geurutee, as there is a cliff on the right side that juts out into the sea.

Although the journey offers views of the ocean through the cliffs, drivers are strongly advised to remain focused and cautious. The ocean view from the cliffs is truly beautiful and exotic. The small islands begin to appear as if they are floating on the water's surface, taking on various shapes. The beach, with its pristine white sand and rows of pine trees, provides shade from the sun and dazzles the eyes. The waves, surging from the ocean toward the shore, seem to be chasing each other.

Several food stalls began to appear along the cliff, signaling our arrival at the designated spot. All the food stalls faced the ocean, a breathtakingly beautiful view, offering a vast expanse of ocean, with several islands, some seemingly floating in the water.

While the road to Mount Geurutee is quite narrow and the few stalls along the cliff face a lack of facilities, the view is truly breathtaking. The stalls are built into the cliff face, supported by wooden pillars and concrete at the base.

Residents began opening food stalls on Mount Geurutee after 2005, as the area was previously unsafe for both people and motorists. Several years of conflict, from 1990 to 2004, after the tsunami, only to see the abandoned area transformed into a tourist attraction.

Mount Geurutee, once a formidable sight, is now frequented by motorists, and the road has even become a convenient route for motorists heading to western Aceh.

This is my brief summary of the views from the summit of Mount Geurutee, which offer a dual beauty.
