Sitakunda Botanical Garden and Ecopark is a very beautiful and rich natural tourist destination located in Sitakunda Upazila of Chittagong District, Bangladesh. It is a unique combination of nature, flora and a hilly-watery environment. It is located in Sitakunda, about 37 kilometers north of Chittagong city, next to the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway. It was officially inaugurated on January 13, 2000. There is a collection of forests, hills, waterfalls and plants spread over an area of more than 1000 acres. Since several of us went there, we are trying to find out about the tickets and necessary information before entering the Botanical Garden and Ecopark. They have made a very nice arrangement, before entering, they have written the necessary information about the tickets on a big signboard that is open to all ages and all types of people. Since we were all adults here, it cost us 50 taka each to buy the ticket.

After entering the Botanical Garden and Ecopark, we first headed towards the Ecopark. In the Ecopark, there were various types of small and large waterfalls, mountains, plants, etc. Parti is especially known for its waterfalls. Parti is a special attraction for tourists because of its various types of small and large waterfalls and lakes. "Sundari Jharna" and "Sahasradhara Jharna" are particularly popular here. Wild animals such as monkeys, deer, and various species of birds can be seen. While walking along the mountain path, the scenic beauty of nature can be enjoyed.

After entering the Ecopark, the first thing I noticed was the different types of children's parks. There were several parks and the parks had different types of facilities for children's entertainment. Children would be very happy if they went there, especially children had different types of toys and different types of things. And inside there were also different types of tickets, each with a different ticket for a different toy or thing. We didn't go that far about the rides inside the children's park.

The road you can see in the picture above. You can enter the Eco Park through this road and after walking about two kilometers along this road, you can reach a high place. Then from that high place you have to go down about a kilometer by stairs. Earlier there were no stairs there, now there are stairs, but the stairs are very risky. You have to go down through these stairs and there is a big fountain. This fountain has water all year round except during the dry season. This place is a very risky place. If you ever go there, walk with caution.

The two photographs above are some parts of the Eco Park. There are many beautiful natural scenery around the road when entering the Eco Park. In the photo above, you can see a place to sit. There are many such sitting places. And not only that, you can enjoy the beauty of the surroundings by sitting in these places. Standing here, all around you seems to be a celebration of natural scenery and the blue sky above. This is a very extraordinary place where the mind and soul are connected. In addition, there is a lot of beautiful natural air there.

Sitakunda Botanical Garden was established primarily for the conservation, research and display of the country's plant diversity. It is not only a tourist destination, but also a natural classroom for botany students. There are thousands of species of trees here. There are many types of flowers, fruits and medicinal plants here and the best part of it is that every tree has a signboard explaining the different types of that tree. It is an open laboratory for students of biology, botany and ecology. Students from many universities and colleges come here on trips for research.

There is an opportunity to gain practical experience in the medicinal uses of trees, environmental benefits and forest resources. It is an open laboratory for students of biology, botany and ecology. This garden plays an important role in protecting forest resources and increasing environmental awareness. It is considered a protected area for preserving biodiversity. The vegetation arranged along the hill slopes makes this garden more attractive. There are separate trails and seating areas for walking here. Sitakunda Botanical Garden is a unique repository of natural wealth in Bangladesh. On the one hand, there are opportunities for travel and entertainment, and on the other hand, there are extraordinary possibilities for education and research. For those who love nature, this is undoubtedly an incomparable place.

Although there is one way to enter the Eco Park, there are many ways to exit this park. The last pictures I shared with you are the way out of this park. There are many beautiful scenes inside this park where everyone, young and old, can play. There is also a very beautiful mosque for praying. And there are also some small shops and a small pond. All in all, this place is a very extraordinary place that I like very much. I hope you can enjoy a lot of beauty in this place. This is a very beautiful place in Chittagong division where people from all over Bangladesh come to visit. I will end my post here today by thanking everyone a lot. May everyone be well.
