Khyber Medical University.

I went to Khyber Medical University (KMU) Phase 5 today 13 September 2025 and the experience was very special because this is the place where I study. KMU is a well-known medical institution in Peshawar that provides quality education and training to future doctors and healthcare professionals. The environment here is very academic and motivating, with dedicated teachers, modern facilities, and a focus on research and practical learning.

Vice Chancellor.

The Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University is Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq. He is a hardworking and dedicated leader who is improving the standard of education, research, and healthcare in the university. Under his guidance, KMU is growing fast and providing better opportunities for students and society.

Daud Khan Academic Block

The Daud Khan Academic Block is part of the Khyber Medical University Institute of Basic Medical Sciences. This block likely serves as a central hub for academic activities, including lectures, seminars, and administrative functions.

KMU Uniforms.

At Khyber Medical University, each department has its own uniform along with the standard white overall coat for hospital or clinical duties. In the Department of IPHSS and IPMS, both male and female students wear a dark blue shirt with the white overall. In the Department of IPRM, students wear a grey shirt with the white overall. This dress code not only helps identify students from different departments but also maintains a professional and disciplined environment inside the university.

Girls’ Namaz Place.

Khyber Medical University has a separate place for girls to offer namaz. It is clean, peaceful, and gives female students a comfortable space for prayer during university hours.

Parking Area.

Khyber Medical University has a proper parking area for students and teachers. It keeps the campus organized and makes it easy for everyone to park their vehicles safely.

Bus Facility.

Khyber Medical University provides a bus facility for students. This makes traveling easier and more comfortable for those who come from different areas.

Canteen.

Khyber Medical University has a canteen for students and staff. It provides chips, water bottles, juices, and many other things. The canteen is a good place for students to refresh themselves and enjoy snacks during their free time.

Khyber Medical University has an administration block where all official work is managed. Students visit this block for admissions, documents, and other important matters. It is the main office of the university.

M. Hafiz Ullah Auditorium

The M. Hafiz Ullah Auditorium of KMU is the main hall where almost all important functions and gatherings are arranged. Here are the types of events that usually take place

Academic Events – conferences, seminars, research presentations, workshops, orientation programs for new students.

Cultural & Religious Events – Rehmat-ul-lil-Alameen Day, Independence Day, cultural shows, and other special celebrations.

Student Activities – debates, speech competitions, quiz competitions, welcome and farewell parties.

Official Functions – convocations, award ceremonies, and meetings with faculty or guests.

Sports.

Khyber Medical University provides sports facilities for students. There is a sports area where students play different games, stay healthy, and enjoy their free time. Sports help students keep fit and build teamwork along with their studies.
