Yesterday, we went to Coimbatore City with our family to shop for Diwali clothes. We went to a restaurant called Sri Anandas in Coimbatore City for lunch. I am going to write about it in detail here. I hope you like it.

In India, especially in Tamil Nadu, many corporate companies are establishing and running restaurants. One of them is the Anandas Group. They run catering services and restaurants. Their company has branches in India and abroad. There are about 30 branches in Coimbatore alone, one of which is located in Ram Nagar, Coimbatore. I went to that restaurant yesterday along with my family.

Despite the fact that Diwali is coming up in a week, yesterday was the second Saturday and schools, colleges and some government institutions were closed, but there was a huge crowd in Coimbatore city yesterday. People had gathered in large numbers to get ready for Diwali. All the restaurants were very busy for lunch. This restaurant was also very busy and there was a huge crowd. When we went, we could not get a seat. We gave our names and waited there.

When our turn came, we were given a dining table. There were six seats at the table given to us. After the three of us sat down, they asked permission to share the seats as there were three empty seats. We allowed them. After that, 3 men were sitting there and eating. Since the crowd was large, there was no difficulty in sharing the seats.

The restaurant's waiter came to take our order and we ordered the food we needed. He showed us the menu. There were many dishes in it. For example, for breakfast, there were Divan items like Idli Dosa, Puri, Chapat,i Parotta ,Uthappam, Meduvada, Dal Vada, Pongal Pudding, South Indian dishes like Noodles Fried Rice, and North Indian Nagar dishes like Samosa Aloo Parotta Tandoori Roti. The lunch menu included full meals, mini meals, parotta chapati, etc. We ordered mini meals for me and my husband. My son ordered his favorite Paneer Roast. The food arrived shortly after we ordered.

The Mini Mills meal we ordered had a lot of items, for example, a chapati, appalams, vadukkals, kesari, curd rice, sambar rice, biryani, etc. were placed in each cup. There were also guruma gravy, cauliflower fry, etc. to eat with it, and there was also curd pachadi. The paneer roast that my son ordered was a roast made with idli batter and inside it was rolled with masala made from paneer, and chutney and sambar were served to eat with it.

The restaurant was very busy so I couldn't take many photos, but I did take a couple of interior photos. They had beautifully framed photos of the food on the side wall to decorate it, which I took a photo of. After we ate, we got the bill and I was happy to see it because most of the food was at very reasonable rates. For example, the mini meals were listed at just Rs. 120 and the paneer roast was listed at Rs. 80, which is very reasonable when compared to other restaurants.

This restaurant is very clean. The waiters wear hats and blouses on their heads and serve food. They do not touch the food. They use tools to do so. People come from time to time to clean it. The food is served very quickly. You don't have to wait that long. Since the crowd keeps coming, they serve and send it away very quickly.

We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday and were very satisfied. The food was very tasty. In general, everyone enjoyed the food and felt satisfied. This restaurant is located in Ram Nagar, Coimbatore. The nearest airport is Coimbatore Airport. The nearest bus station is Coimbatore Bus Station. It is located near Gandhipuram Bus Stand in the center of Coimbatore City, so you can walk there. The nearest railway station is Coimbatore Railway Station.
