A Memorable Family Trip to Monpura Kebab House and Children's Park

Life often feels robotic amidst the weekly rush and work pressure. But breaking that monotony and making some time for ourselves and our families is essential—because that's where true happiness lies. I always try to take at least one day each week to go somewhere, even if it's nearby. I believe entertainment is food for the soul, and when the mind is happy, life becomes beautiful. Monpura Amusement Park: Location & Accessibility

During this year’s Eid holiday, we decided to go on a family trip. Everyone preferred a place nearby. That’s when Monpura Amusement Park, located in Dagonbhuiyan Upazila of Feni District, came to mind.

The park is conveniently located right next to the main road, so it’s easily accessible by both private and public transportation.

Adjacent to the park is a fantastic kebab house and community center, where weddings and events often take place. Thanks to the affordable prices, the food spot is usually crowded with people enjoying meals.
Planning the Trip with Family

There were about 14 of us, including my little nieces and nephews. Keeping the kids in mind, we chose Monpura Park as the perfect family-friendly destination. Although my wife couldn’t join us due to illness, I remained determined and set out with the rest of the family. After lunch, we all got ready and left around 3 PM in a private car.

Entry & Ticket Process

Upon arriving, I reminded everyone to stay together—especially to keep an eye on the little ones. I personally went to the counter to buy tickets. Due to the Eid occasion, the entry fee was 50 BDT per person.
Once inside, we noticed that some parts of the park were still under construction. Although slightly disappointing, it wasn’t enough to spoil the overall experience.

Rides & Joy for the Kids
The children were thrilled—riding the merry-go-round, hopping on horse rides—their joy lit up the entire park. Although some attractions weren’t fully operational yet, seeing the little ones happy made the whole trip worthwhile. Truly, the laughter of children is the greatest joy for any family.

Food & Surroundings
We spent quite a while at the nearby kebab house. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, making it an ideal spot for families to dine during the trip.
Cleanliness & Safety

The presence of security personnel at the gate and inside the park was commendable. As parents, we were initially concerned about safety, but the park's management maintained proper supervision, making it a comfortable environment for children. The entire park was well-kept and clean. Even the restrooms and seating areas were surprisingly tidy.

While the kids were enjoying themselves, others were busy capturing the moments. Though we didn’t find any dedicated photo zone, the natural beauty of the park served as the perfect backdrop for memorable family photos.
